Stampin’ Up! Petal Parade Sale-a-bration Sneak Peek, the BOX!

Stampin’ Up! Petal Parade Sale-a-bration Sneak Peek, the BOX!

Hey there! Finally accomplishing some things that have really been needing attention today. Still have a bunch of wrapping to do, but my girls are planning to help me tomorrow, so there's hope!

As promised, here is the box I created to put yesterday's calendar in. I used the Envelope Punch Board for my scoring:

Stampin_up_petal_parade_box_1

I used Crisp Cantaloupe for the box, stamping it all over with one of the 2014 Sale-a-bration Petal Parade stamps and one from the Occasions Catalog, Petite Petals with Crisp Cantaloupe ink.

I used the Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper for the belly-band. I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Tangerine Tango, Pistachio Pudding, and Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the single stamp called People Like You. After stamping on Whisper White cardstock, I cut it out with a Deco Label Framlit, then mounted it on a Pistachio Pudding layer also cut with the next-size larger Deco Label Framelit.

Stampin_up_petal_parade_box_2

I knew I needed a fairly deep box to be able to put the Sweet Sorbet easel calendar in, and this box worked perfectly!

Stampin_up_petal_parade_box_3

Now I just wish I had time to make about a dozen of these for Christmas gifts! Why, oh why do I always get my best inspiration at the last minute???

That's all for now. The item codes for the Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper and the Petal Parade stamp set won't go live until Sale-a-bration starts on January 28th, but the People Like You stamp set will be available starting January 3rd! Come stamp with all of these fun new products at my Stampin' in the New Year Stamp-a-Stack on January 1st, 3rd, and 4th!

You can shop now in my Online Store for all the Holiday Catalog products that are still available (most of which will never be available again, unless they show up someday on the Clearance Rack!), as well as Annual Catalog, Photopolymers, and Best of 25 Years stamps: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Sorbet 2014 Calendar!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Sorbet 2014 Calendar!

Hey there! I worked quite a bit today on some new projects for my New Year's Day Stamp-a-Stack, and this is one of them:

Stampin_up_sweet_sorbet_calendar_1

I ordered the calendars from vippies.com a few weeks ago with the plan to create a calendar for my stampers to make at the Stampin' in the New Year Birthday Stamp-a-Stack on January 1st, 3rd, and 4th. In case you didn't know, I'm notoriously know for putting things away "safely", then not remembering where "safe" is, but I actually found the package of calendars with not much fuss!

Stampin_up_sweet_sorbet_calendar_2

I created an easel-style calendar using the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper and Petals Parade Stamp Set from the Sale-a-bration brochure, and the Petite Petals stamp set from the new Occasions Catalog. Sale-a-bration means you get to choose a free item from the SAB brochure for every $50 you order! This much-loved annual promotion starts January 28th! It's a GREAT time to host a stampin' party because SAB makes it even easier to get more free hostess benefits (which means MORE free stamps and accessories for YOU, the hostess!)

The colors of the paper are Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Basic Black, Pool Party, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White. After stamping the flowers, I punched them out with the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Scallop Punch, and the Petite Pansy Punch. I added 2013/2015 In-Color Boutique Details and a Vintage Faceted Designer Button to the center of the flowers with Glue Dots. The leafy branches are punched with the Bird Builder Punch from Pistachio Pudding cardstock.

I JUST LOVE how the Basic Black mats make everything really POP!

I also added a mini-gel pen behind the Post-It Note pad by adhering a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim with Sticky Strip.

This project folds flat to fit inside a custom box I made for it with the Envelope Punch Board! Come back tomorrow to see it!

This project joins the Pinky Sparkly Birthday Cake card I showed you HERE.

PLEASE RSVP for this class ASAP so I know how many packets to prepare!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Blessing Card By Sara!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Blessing Card By Sara!

Hey there! I love to open Christmas cards when they come in the mail. I love them all; the ones purchased with thougtfullness and love at the store, and family photo cards, but I especially love the hand-stamped ones I receive from my lovely stamping friends! Today's card was created by Sara Harris:

Stampin_up_wonderful_blessings_1

Sara used some new and some retired Stampin' Up! product for her unique layout. It has a very vintage-y feel! I won't even try to attempt to name the retired products she used, but I can tell you she used Crumb Cake cardstock for her card base and the Wonderful Blessing single stamp (#134779 $8.95) for her focal image:

Stampin_up_wonderful_blessings_2

I love this z-folded presentation!

Stampin_up_wonderful_blessings_3

As best I can tell (I haven't had time to contact Sara to ask for the answer to this question) Sara clear heat-embossed the image on Crumb Cake cardstock, then either sponged it with Illuminate Glimmer ink or retired Shimmer Paint. As a final touch she sponged the "peace on earth" phrase from the stamp with what I believe is retired Riding Hood Red ink and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

I love this card!

The stamps on the Single Stamps flyer will only be available until January 31, 2014, so don't delay ordering!

Click HERE to order from my Online Store.

That's all for now! I have another card from a stamping friend to show you tomorrow, this time one from my new downline, Angie!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Santa’s List!

Stampin’ Up! Santa’s List!

Hey there! I managed to get my swap in the mail before the deadline to mail Priority, then spent the rest of the stamping day working on the projects to mail out to the Online Ordering customers who placed orders to choose Christmas Catch-Up projects. I'm almost done, which is a good thing, considering I still have a bit more shopping, wrapping, cleaning, and decorating to do before my family starts arriving next week! Whew! It's going to be close, but I have a list, so I'm chipping  away on it every day!

I thought about saving these swaps for this coming Sunday, but since we are just barely a week away from Christmas Day, I decided I'd better go ahead and share these with you. These all were created using the Santa's List set in the Holiday Catalog:

Stampin_up_santas_list_1

Kathy Morgan used a Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp for ther "do not open .. " greeting on the front.

Stampin_up_santas_list_2

Next, Linda Pagel chose to make her gift card holder an easel card:

Stampin_up_santas_list_easel_1

Stampin_up_santas_list_easel_2

And last, Lorraine Duran used a Window Frame Framelit and a Very Merry Tags stamp along with Santa's list for her creation:

Stampin_up_santas_list_window_frames_1

The pocket for the giftcard opens up matchbook-style:

That's all for now! If you have procrastinated and haven't ordered Santa's List yet, there's still time! You can click HERE to shop in my Online Store. While you are there you can also shop the Clearance Rack, the Annual Catalog, and the latest Weekly Deals, which are DOUBLE the number of deals than usual!
