Stampin’ Up! Hello Cupcake Celebrate Banner!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Cupcake Celebrate Banner!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you the banner I created for our family birthday celebrations. Every month that one of our family has a birthday we gather to celebrate!

I was inspired to create today's banner from a card I shared with you last month  HERE.

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_banner_carolpaynestamps1

I used the Buffalo Check background with Real Red ink on Very Vanilla for the pennants, then layered doilies cut with the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies.

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_banner_carolpaynestamps2

After sponging the doilies with Crumb Cake ink, I added the cupcake and pedestal with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_banner_carolpaynestamps3

I cut three of each Early Espresso letter with the Large Letter Thinlits Dies, then glued each letter together to create a stacked letter before gluing to the banner. To add the pennants to the twine I simply folded the top of the Buffalo Check-stamped layer about 1/2-inch from the top and then stapled it over the twine. This leaves the pennants adjustable to be closer or farther apart as I decide.

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter With Buffalo Check!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter With Buffalo Check!

Hey there! Today is the first full day of the Stampin' Up! OnStage 30th Anniversary Celebration in Orlando Florida! Last night I attended "CentreStage" for demonstrators at the Silver Elite title and above at Disney's Epcot. Pictures will be coming soon!

Today I'm sharing another card inspired by the Nothing Sweeter "Shop By Occasion"  feature in my online store!

I changed the colors from the original posted HERE.

For a homespun look, I used a Crumb Cake, Real Red, Call Me Clover, and Very Vanilla. I stamped a 2" x 4 1/4" Real Red strip with Buffalo Check and black ink.  I love Buffalo Check! In case it retires on January 1st, be sure to order soon!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps1

I cut the Call Me Clover tree with two tree dies from Sweetly Stitched Framelits. I stamped the lights with Call Me Clover and colored the Pearls with a Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend Marker. The snowflake was cut with a Sweetly Stitched Framelit too!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps2

I stamped a Real Red greeting, then added the "rick-rack" stitching with a Sweetly Stitched Framelit.

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps3

I tried the greeting in Call Me Clover. Which color do you prefer?

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps4

 Crumb Cake colored pearls!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps6

Nothing Sweeter is clear photopolymer so you can stamp accurately. I stamped sentiment first, then the heart. The Very Vanilla layer is 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", and the Real Red mat layer is 3 5/8" x  4 7/8". I love this size for my inside layers because it zeroes in on the sentiment without lots of empty space. It's easier for me to decide how I want to stamp it!

Stampin’ Up! Spirited Springy Snowmen Part TWO!

Stampin’ Up! Spirited Springy Snowmen Part TWO!

Hey there! Here's the second spring-y snowman card created with Spirited Snowmen, Buffalo Check, Timeless Tidings, and the Blizzard Thinlet Die:

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps6

This snowman jiggles, wiggles, and springs!

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps8

Stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Stampin' Blends, and cut out with Paper Snips. I painted him with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps7

I punched the Timeless Tidings sentiment with the 2 1/4" Circle Punch, then cut a scalloped circle from Bermuda Bay with a Layering Circle Framelit.

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps9

Inside I used a Timeless Tidings sentiment, adding brayered Pool Party snowflakes.

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps10

TO MAKE THE SPRING!

I needed thin wire, but didn't have any, so I stripped the cover from a twist-tie, then wrapped about 3 1/2 inches around a paintbrush handle. I slid the spring off the handle.

Stampin_up_spring_carolpaynestamps1

Four 3/4" white circles and four 3/4" Multipurpose Adhesive circles. Pierce a hole in the center of two white circles.

Stampin_up_spring_carolpaynestamps2

Thread the spring ends through the holes.

Stampin_up_spring_carolpaynestamps3

Add a Multi-purpose Adhesive circle to another white circle, remove the backing, adhere over the wire ends.

Stampin_up_spring_carolpaynestamps4

Add a final layer of adhesive sheet to the circles. I uncovered the stickiness to adhere the spring to the snowman and the card. These directions are paraphrased from Gillian Whitcombe, UK Stampin' Up! Demo.

Carol Payne Stamps Blueberry Bushel Buffalo Check!

Carol Payne Stamps Blueberry Bushel Buffalo Check!

Hey there! Another  Holiday Catalog stamp I had to add to my collection was Buffalo Check!  This stamp has so many uses, especially with the "farmhouse" look that is so popular right now!

I paired it with the Country Home set to create another one of the cards we will be making when I have my Country Home Class next month: Stampin_up_buffalo_check_carolpaynestamps1

I heat-embossed the Blueberry Bushel pitcher and the Whisper White Craft blooms with Clear embossing powder on vellum:

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_carolpaynestamps6

Before cutting with the largest oval Stitched Shapes framelit I flipped the blooms over onto my Stampin' Pierce Mat and rubbed with the stylus from the Simply Scored to make the blooms have a whiter look.

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_carolpaynestamps7

I adhered the vellum to the scalloped Blueberry Bushel oval with sponged liquid glue. I added a Night of Navy baker's twine bow with a glue dot.

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_carolpaynestamps2

I cut out the "HELLO" with a Stitched Labels Framelit.

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_carolpaynestamps4

I added a narrow strip of Blueberry Bushel designer paper inside.
