Hey there, how are you today? I'm a bit under the weather. I think my semi-annual sinus infection is brewing, and yesterday I sprained my ankle just a bit. How do you sprain your ankle "a bit"? Well, apparently you can do that. I stepped off my deck steps the wrong way yesterday morning and found myself on the ground. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to get up, so I called my husband who had just pulled out of the drive way, but the cold ground was a very strong motivation to overcome the pain in my ankle and get my self up! By the time my husband had turned the grain truck he was driving around and came back I had myself in the car. Long story short, my ankle is swollen some this morning but does not hurt to the touch and I can pretty much put my weight on it, so I don't think it needs medical attention.

Tips: Add ears to back of head
with edges of ears popped out as shown. Use Real Red marker to stamp “RRooF*” on
Whisper White scrap. Punch with Small Oval Punch. Add a line of Crystal Effects

Keep card flat till dry.

Sale-a-bration is Coming to a Close!

I know, It's sad but true. Only three more days left of Sale-a-bration, the best time of the Stampin' Up! year when every order of $50 or more qualifies for FREE stamps! Where have I been the past couple of weeks? Meeting myself coming and going with Sale-a-bration Classes and Hostess Parties. We also had a big family weekend added in there with some of my husband's family in from Tennessee for a couple of days! We hosted the "family feed" at our house on the Sunday dinner of that weekend with over 30 people crammed together, but my daughters and my dear Sister-in-laws all pulled together and made it happen. It was an amazingly smooth and enjoyable day!

Just one more SAB party tomorrow night, then I move on to prep for my April Punch Class and "Days to Remember" Calendar Class this weekend!

The above card uses the Clear Scallop Square Die for the base. Ice Cream Parlor Designer Paper and Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon & Buttons are all still FREE with a $50 order until Midnight, Thursday, March 31st! The candle flames are one of the Blossom Petals Punch petals, spritzed with Vanilla Smooch Spritz!

**Notice anything different about the "birthday" letters? They are heat embossed with White Embossing powder, but after the embossing cooled we "colored" inside the letters with the Versamarker! The Versamarker makes the Pacific Point cardstock underneath just a little bit "more" and makes it pop!

Spring is on it’s way!

Yes, my friends, spring IS on it's way, at least in my mailbox! This week I received my monthly swap I participate in, and the theme this month was "spring or Easter", which means I have some beautiful cards to show you!

This first swap from Barbara Dykhouse used the "Build a Blossom" stamp set with the "Blossoms Petals" punch, along with the "Framed Tulips" Textured Impresssions Folder to create an all-occasion card. All I have to do is add the sentiment of my choice and stamp the inside accordingly and it's ready to go!

Beth Weinstein paired Rich Razzleberry with a selection from the "Springtime Vintage" Designer Paper and "Thanks for Caring" stamp set to create an elegant sympathy card. She also used the "Framed Tulips" Textured Impressions Folder. Can you tell it's a favorite of just about everyone?

Last for today, Cindy Ewertz used the Occasions Mini "Clearly for You" stamp set along with the "Easter Blossoms" phrase, "sending Springtime smiles" to enhance the "Petal Card" punch as this card's focal point. There's lots of texture going on here with the "Square Lattice" Textured Impressions Folder and the "Scallop Trim Border" punch, and Decorative Label punch!

Downline Meeting Shares!

One of the big features of our Downline Meetings is sharing, and taking pictures of those shares. Here are a few that my 1st level downline, Linda Reaney, shared at our meeting. This first card uses the free SAB set, "Bliss". along with Very Vanilla Rosette's, Basic Pearls, and the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Folder!

Linda used the "Newsprint" Designer Series Paper from page 175 of the Big Catalog as the background for this beautiful Daffodil Delight Build a Blossom flower punched with the Blossom Petals Punch, both form the Occasions Mini. She added an Antique Brad from page 187 of the Big Catalog along with Dazzling Diamonds glitter!

Linda also shared this cute "peek-a-boo" card using the "Create a Cupcake" stamp set and the "Build a Cupcake" punch, also from the Occasions Mini! She used "Playdate" Designer Series Paper from page 175 of the Big Catalog as her inspiration for the card.

These were just a few of the samples that Linda shared with our meeting!
