Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned!

Hey there! Happy Catalog Launch Day! Today is the first day you can order from the NEW 2021-2022 Annual Catalog! If you don't have your own copy and don't have a demonstrator you usually order from, I would be happy to pop one in the mail to you ASAP for FREE! Just message me your name, email, and snail mail address and I will send one to you right away!

Today I have a simple little card for you created with the Hand-Penned Suite. I used the new In Color Soft Succulent for the card base, then added a layer of Basic White that I embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder. I then added three strips (1 1/4" x 3 3/4") of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.

I punched the sentiment from Hand-Penned Petals with the Double Oval Punch, then used the scalloped oval part of the punch to make the Soft Succulent mat. I added a bow tied with Pale Papaya 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon.

The inside sentiment and image are from another new catalog set, Color & Contour. I stamped the blooms with Blushing Bride ink.

Stampin’ Up! Gilded Art Gallery!

Hey there! I've been playing with the Gold Gilded Leafing Embellishment some, experimenting with other ways to use it. My card today uses it two ways, with the Heat & Stick Powder and with Adhesive Sheets!

After stamping the most solid bloom with Misty Moonlight ink, I then stamped with the 2nd bloom layer using Versamark. After sprinkling with Heat & Stick powder and melting with my Heat Tool, I then pressed it into my container of Gilded Leafing. I then used a stipple brush to brush the excess back into the container.

For the sentiment, I applied an adhesive sheet to both sides of a piece of Basic White card stock, then cut with the die. I then removed the adhesive cover from the words and applied the gilded leafing in the same way as before. Then I removed the adhesive cover from the back side to adhere to the card.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day May 2nd!

Hey there! It's Sunday again, which means it's time for me to share some swaps with you!

First, a card by Carol Slack created with the retiring stamp set, Basket of Blooms, and the retiring Small Bloom Punch!

Next, Janet Johnson combined the retiring Beautiful Friendship stamp set with retiring Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper. The Tailored Tag punch she used in NOT retiring. You will see it again the the New 2021 Annual Catalog!

Dolores Villa used the carrying over Friends Are Like Seashells for her swap card. The Sand & Sea Designer Series paper is retiring on June 30th, but is still available to order right now.

Finally, Cathy Miller used the 2021 Spring Mini Catalog set, A Cut Above, for her fun card. This set is still available but will be retiring on June 30th, so if this set speaks to you for the men in your life, you need to snap it up now!

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Gilded Rose!

Hey there! Today I have another card created with a retiring stamp set, To A Wild Rose. I combined this set and the matching dies with the new Gilded Leafing from the Spring Mini Catalog and Blushing Bride to create this:

I added gilded leafing to the center of the rose with Versamark and Heat & Stick powder.

I added gilded leafing to the edges of the layer with Tear & Tape.

Such a lovely sentiment from To A Wild Rose. I hate to see it go.

First, Linda Pagel used a set that is returning to the new Annual Catalog, Pampered Pets, for her card. The Playful Pets Designer Paper, however, is retiring, so you need to order it before May 3rd!

Next, Janace Charbonneau also used the Pampered Pets set. She also used the Pets Dies, which are returning in the new Annual Catalog, but will no longer be bundled with the stamp set for 10% savings.

Inside is a sentiment from Pampered Pets.

Jan Farring used the Whale Done Bundle of stamps and punch with the Whale of a Time 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. The stamps and punch are carrying over to the new Annual Catalog but the designer paper is not.

Finally, Sharon Tong-Robinson also used the Whale Done Bundle and Whale of a Time Designer Paper for her card.
