Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day May 2nd!

Hey there! It's Sunday again, which means it's time for me to share some swaps with you!

First, a card by Carol Slack created with the retiring stamp set, Basket of Blooms, and the retiring Small Bloom Punch!

Next, Janet Johnson combined the retiring Beautiful Friendship stamp set with retiring Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper. The Tailored Tag punch she used in NOT retiring. You will see it again the the New 2021 Annual Catalog!

Dolores Villa used the carrying over Friends Are Like Seashells for her swap card. The Sand & Sea Designer Series paper is retiring on June 30th, but is still available to order right now.

Finally, Cathy Miller used the 2021 Spring Mini Catalog set, A Cut Above, for her fun card. This set is still available but will be retiring on June 30th, so if this set speaks to you for the men in your life, you need to snap it up now!

There are only a few days left to order from the current Annual Catalog, which expires on May 3rd!

Stampin’ Up! So Much Happy!

Hey there! Last night when I was starting to work on my blog post for today my computer wasn't cooperating. I use an older laptop to do most of my online stuff and I often leave it on for days at a time. I do put it to "sleep" at night, but after awhile it stops cooperating and needs to be shut down for awhile. So I'm blogging this morning instead. You just have to be flexible with technology, right?

In my last order I receive the So Much Happy Bundle, and I've been dying to play with it. For my card today I paired it with Artistry Blooms Designer Series paper to create this bright and cheery birthday card:

The Happy dies that coordinate with the So Much Happy stamp set are my favorite feature of this bundle! I will be playing more with this one so you can see it's potential! I used the new In Color Magenta Madness for the card base and the ink.

I used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to create the greeting label from a 1" x 3 1/2" strip of Whisper White.

I used a kissing technique to add the tiny stars to one of the solid stars. I explain this technique in the directions I am including at the bottom of this post!
