Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Valentines Part #2!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the rest of my  Valentine swaps. Tomorrow I'll be back sharing my original creations, but the rest of these Valentines may help you decide what to make this year!

First a shaker Valentine from Jenna Raby using the Sure Do Love you Bundle (pg 19 OC -Occasions Catalog), Painted with Love Specialty Designer, Metallic Foil Doilies, and Gold Glitter Flakes mixed with Iridescent Sequin Assortment (pg 197 AC – Annual Catalog).

Next, Michelle T. also used Sure Do Love You with Berry Burst, Basic Black, Whisper White, Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and Silver heat embossing.

In addition to the large heart greeting, Sure Do Love You also contains three conversation-style hearts to stamp and cut out with Lots to Love Box Framelits. The Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon is found on page 13 of the OC in the Sweet Soiree Suite!

Rhonda Bassler also created a shaker-style Valentine with Sure Do Love You, Painted with Love Specialty paper, and Gold Glitter Flakes. She made her own background by stamping on the Powder Pink card base with both Powder Pink and Rich Razzleberry ink.

The banner is cut with a die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits and tied with a bit of Calypso Coral 1/8" Sheer Ribbon from page 199 of the AC.

Finally, Laura Barto created this Valentine-looking card with Sweet Little Something on page 40 of the OC. She used Layering Squares Framelits and free Bubbles & Fizz Designer Paper from the Sale-a-bration brochure.  The Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer heart was cut with a Sweet & Sassy Framelit.

Stampin_up_sweet_little_something_carolpaynestamps1

This card is actually a baby card! The bunny has been stamped with Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake. A tiny bow of Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon was added with a glue dot.

Stampin’ Up! Valentine Sunday Swap Day January 28th!

Stampin’ Up! Valentine Sunday Swap Day January 28th!

Hey there! It's almost February, which means Valentine's Day will be here soon, and I've collected up a lovely bunch of Valentine swaps to share with you today! All of them were created with stamps and accessories from the Occasions Catalog, so get ready for a treat!

First, Susie Wood used Heart Happiness from page 20 of the Occasions Catalog (OC) for her Fresh Fig/Old Olive creation. The Layered Leaves Dynamic Folder gives the perfect amount of texture to the background. She added touches of Clear Wink of Stella and a few pearls for glam.

Stampin_up_heart_happiness_carolpaynestamps1

A Fresh Fig 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon bow and a sentiment from  Lovely Wishes (pg 50 OC) are the finishing touches.

Stampin_up_lovely_wishes_carolpaynestamps

Next, Kathy Johnson used Hedgehugs from page 38 (OC). Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White create a rich look!

Stampin_up_hedgehugs_carolpaynestamps1

The Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Folder provides the background for the Soft Suede-stamped hedgehogs colored with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. The greeting was punched with 1" and 1 1/4" Circle Punches. The hearts were cut with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets Dies and Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon is the perfect finishing accent!

Stampin_up_hedgehugs_carolpaynestamps2

The timeless set, Teeny Tiny Wishes (pg 36 of the Annual Catalog) provides the "happy valentine's day" to pair with "adorable you" from Hedgehugs.

Stampin_up_hedgehugs_carolpaynestamps3

Ruth Bingle used the Sure Do Love You Bundle from page 19 (OC) for her tri-fold valentine. Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper and gold Love Mini Tinsel Trim are also part of the Painted with Love Suite.

Stampin_up_painted_with_love_carolpaynestamps1

Ruth adhered Gold Glitter Flakes, also from the Painted with Love Suite, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and cut the heart window and accents with Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! It's Sunday, so time for some swaps! yay!

I have just a few unshared Valentines, the first by Carol Slack using Falling Petals folder, Sweet & Sassy Framelits, Sealed with Love stamps, and Sending Love Designer Paper!

Stampin_up_sealed_with_love_carolpaynestamps1

Carol used the Double-Dutch fold, I forget about this one sometimes!

Stampin_up_sealed_with_love_carolpaynestamps3

Next, Jenna Raby used the Lift Me Up set with Sending Love Designer, Sweet & Sassy Framelits, and Up & Away Thinlets for her interlocking hearts creation:

Stampin_up_lift_me_up_carolpaynestamps1

The final Valentine I sharing this year is by Lorraine Duran with the Falling Petals Folder, Sweet Heart Punch, and Sending Love Designer Paper:

Stampin_up_lift_me_up_carolpaynestamps4

I also have a few swaps using Sale-a-bration sets!

First, Rene Watson created a "Z-fold" with Hey Chick and the Hexagon Dynamic folder:

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps4

Wendy Lee also used Hey Chick, adding some small-but-effective details to make her card a true WOW!

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps9

Beautiful watercoloring with an AquaPainter is just the beginning!

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps3

Tone-on-tone monochromatic stamping and speckling with Gorgeous Grunge help make the details pop.

Wendy used the Fringe Scissors and a thin strip of Red Glimmer Paper for edge-interest, as well as used just a tiny bit of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon, Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate, and Gold Metallic Thread to highlight the greeting!

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps1

The final swap today arrived with no creator name, but is so pleasing, it's a shame. They combined So Very Much Sale-a-bration with Beautiful You to make a stylish statement with Whisper White, Melon Mambo, and Basic Black. The tiny flower was punched with the Tree Builder Punch!

Stampin’ Up! Playful Pal!

Stampin’ Up! Playful Pal!

Hey there! My youngest son, Ben, has been elephant crazy since he was little. It started with the Disney "Dumbo" movie, which he called "Mambo". At age 3 we went to a circus and he sat on an elephant's back. Unfortunately, no pictures taken, and even more unfortunate, he doesn't remember it.

Over the years our family has gifted him with elephants of all shapes and sizes,  so I was excited to make this guy with Playful Pals stamps and coordinating Pyramid Pals Framelits;!

Stampin_up_playful_pal_carolpaynestamps1

He's about 2 1/2" square at his base and 2 1/2" tall. You only need half a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock to create the box, with just a few additional scraps to stamp and cut out his ears, nose, eyes, and tail.

The Pyramid Pal framelits even have tabs built in so the pieces are ready to attach with bit of Tear & Tape Adhesive. I punched a leftover scrap of Sending Love Designer Paper from yesterday's Yummy In My Tummy project with the Confetti Hearts Border Punch.

Stampin_up_playful_pals_carolpaynestamps3

Of course he had to have a tail!

Stampin_up_playful_pals_carolpaynestamps4

The back flap has no adhesive so you can add a treat!

This set and framelits perfect for creating critters for almost every occasion,  can be ordered from my online store: http://bit.ly/shopwithCarolPayneStamps

Stampin’ Up! Yummy in My Tummy!

Stampin’ Up! Yummy in My Tummy!

Hey there! I make Valentines with my grandchildren every year. This year I'm designing for boys 9, 5, and 4. Yummy in My Tummy is perfect!

Stampin_up_yummy_in_my_tummy_carolpaynestamps3

I have a lot of Cucumber Crush card stock, which retires May 31. It's kinda Christmas-y, but more masculine than pink and red!

Stampin_up_yummy_in_my_tummy_carolpaynestamps4

All of the Valentine-y sentiments I have are lovey-dovey, and girly, so I used a Friendly Wishes sentiment, cutting with the largest Stitched Shapes Framelit circle.

Stampin_up_yummy_in_my_tummy_carolpaynestamps5

Cucumber Crush base: 3" x 1o:, scored at 4 1/2" and 5 1/2".

Candy in a 2" x 8" Cellophane Bag, stapled between the top ends. I stapled the ribbon at the same time.

Stampin_up_yummy_in_my_tummy_carolpaynestamps1

Tied the ribbon bow, and cut the excess cello bag even with the top.

Stampin_up_yummy_in_my_tummy_carolpaynestamps2

The hole through the monster's belly and package front was cut with a Layering Circle Framelit. The monster hand-cut with Paper Snips.
