Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Romance!

Hey there! Welcome to the place where I share my paper crafting excitement and creations using only Stampin' Up! products! Today's card is created with the Floral Romance Suite on page 10 of the brand-new Occasions Catalog. This bundle was at the top of my "must-have" list as soon as I leafed through the catalog for the first time. Take a look and you'll see why:

I love the color palette of this suite: Fresh Fig, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White!

So much of this card is self-explanatory, but just let me make sure you know that the only fussy-cutting I did was to finish cutting out the blooms after I cut them out as much as possible with the Wonderful Floral Framelit die. After the open-work fat-oval die cut out the sentiment from Whisper White card stock, I sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink. I wound Linen Thread several times around the stems before tying in a bow.

The "trellis" look after cutting with the Wonderful Floral die was what instantly sold me on this bundle!

I used a sentiment from Life is Grand to finish the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Incredible Like You!

Hey there! On this first day of 2019 I want to wish you all a Happy New Year! I'm also sharing three cards created with the Incredible Like You set!

First, I received this card by Karen Titus in a swap. Karen used a Whisper White Thick card base, layered on an Old Olive square cut with the largest Stitched Shapes square framelit. After stamping the two-step flower from Incredible Like you with Melon Mambo, Karen added Old Olive leaves and cut with the same Stitched Shapes square framelit. She added the greeting, also from Incredible Like You, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and a Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dot for sparkle.

For my first inspired creation I embossed the white background with the new Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions folder and used Balmy Blue Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Paper for the background square. I stamped-off the Mint Macaron leaves once before stamping between the Flirty Flamingo flowers.

I made sure I stamped the greeting BEFORE embossing with the Lace Dynamic folder. I added a Frosted Flower Embellishment in Petal Pink. Frosted Flowers are self-adhesive, making application a snap!

The card we will be making at my Stampin' In The New Year Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack was created with Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala Designer Paper and the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

The two-step blooms from Incredible Like You don't have to be stamped-off because they are created so the solid image automatically stamps lighter. When you stamp the detail image on top it is the darker version of the same ink!

I still used the same greeting and Petal Pink Frosted Flower Embellishment:

I borrowed a sentiment from Wonderful Moments for the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Incredible Like You!

I made sure I stamped the greeting BEFORE embossing with the Lace Dynamic folder. I added a Frosted Flower Embellishment in Petal Pink. Frosted Flowers are self-adhesive, making application a snap!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day December 2nd!

Hey there and welcome to Sunday Swap Day, the day of the week where I share gorgeous swap inspiration!

First, Dena Tarkowski used the Farmhouse Christmas stamps with Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper for her fun-fold card:

Farmhouse Christmas is an all-inclusive set, images and sentiments that let you create a card with only one set!

Next, Cathy Miller used the Peaceful Noel Bundle of stamps and the Sprig Punch to create this beauty!

She used the Sprig Punch to punch Merry Merlot Joyous Noel 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper for the greeting background. She also used a wadded-up piece of Saran Wrap to dab Champagne Shimmer Paint over the Gray Granite background.

I love the sentiments in this set!

Amy Combs used Signs of Santa stamps, Santa's Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper, Poppy Parade 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon and a Pearlized Doily for her bright and chipper creation:

She used a Santa's Workshop Enamel Shape (sold out 🙁 ) to add this darling embellishment to the greeting:

Finally, Lorraine Duran used the Tags & Tidings Bundle to create this adorable card:

Carol Payne Stamps Sunday Swap Day September 23rd!

Hey there! It's Sunday, which means it's time to share some swaps! yay!

First, Mary Waring used the First Frost Bundle with Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Paper with a color combo of Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White, and Gold Metallic Thread and Metallic Pearls. I loved Mary's layout so I used it when I created Troy & Grace's engagement card HERE!

Next, Kelly Acheson used the Falling Leaves Bundle with Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper for her quick and easy swap. She cut out the greeting with a Stitched Shapes Framelit, added new 3/16" Braided Linen Trim, and added a few Blackberry Bliss marker splatters for a finishing touch!

Karen Kurz' Country Home swap inspired the creation of my Country Home Card Class, scheduled for October 5th and 6th! Karen used the Tin Tile Dynamic Folder, then brushed on some Copper Shimmer Paint, cut out the focal image with a Stitched Label Framelit, and added White Embossing Paste to the "cotton bolls"!

Finally, Rhonda Bassler's creation arrived in the same envelope of swaps as Karen's, so I had to add it to the class too! Rhonda also used the Tin Tile Dynamic Folder, this time with the new Galvanized Metallic Paper and added a strip of Copper Glimmer Paper which is also new in the Holiday Catalog!

Stampin’ Up! Color Your Season With the Blended Seasons Bundle!

Hey there! I spent quite a bit of time yesterday sorting the rest of the pics I took of the swap boards on the Alaska Incentive Trip and realized I had a bunch of samples created with the Limited Edition Blended Seasons Bundle!

I've broken the swap pics into two groups. I'm sharing one group today and the rest tomorrow!

With the combined Blended Seasons stamps and the Stitched Seasons Framelits (bundled to save you 10%) you can create a lovely fall card like this one. The creator used the Climbing Vine Textured Impressions folder for a coordinating background.

For this card the blooms were heat embossed with white powder before being colored with Stampin' Blends.

The blooms on this card were colored with the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2, then blended with a Blender Pen. The leaves were also cut with Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies. Pearls Basic Jewels add the finishing touch.

After stamping the blooms with Smoky Slate ink on Smoky Slate card stock, a Stitched Seasons Framelits Die was used to cut out the window. A piece of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper was mounted behind the window. A Gray Granite 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon makes an easy knot/bow.
