Hey there! On this first day of 2019 I want to wish you all a Happy New Year! I'm also sharing three cards created with the Incredible Like You set!
First, I received this card by Karen Titus in a swap. Karen used a Whisper White Thick card base, layered on an Old Olive square cut with the largest Stitched Shapes square framelit. After stamping the two-step flower from Incredible Like you with Melon Mambo, Karen added Old Olive leaves and cut with the same Stitched Shapes square framelit. She added the greeting, also from Incredible Like You, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and a Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dot for sparkle.
For my first inspired creation I embossed the white background with the new Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions folder and used Balmy Blue Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Paper for the background square. I stamped-off the Mint Macaron leaves once before stamping between the Flirty Flamingo flowers.
I made sure I stamped the greeting BEFORE embossing with the Lace Dynamic folder. I added a Frosted Flower Embellishment in Petal Pink. Frosted Flowers are self-adhesive, making application a snap!
The card we will be making at my Stampin' In The New Year Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack was created with Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala Designer Paper and the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
The two-step blooms from Incredible Like You don't have to be stamped-off because they are created so the solid image automatically stamps lighter. When you stamp the detail image on top it is the darker version of the same ink!
I still used the same greeting and Petal Pink Frosted Flower Embellishment:
I borrowed a sentiment from Wonderful Moments for the inside.
