Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board Treat Box!

Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board Treat Box!

Hey there! We just got home from the "Hanging of the Greens" service at church tonight! So beautiful. I love to recall the actual meanings of all the different sights and symbols of Christmas!

I have another project I am preparing for my Christmas Catch-up and Customer Appreciation Open House on December 13 to share with you today. This time it is an adorable little treat box we will be making with the Envelope Punch Board:

Stampin_up_envelope_punch_board_box_1

Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla cardstock.

Season of Style Designer Paper for the belly band.

Festive Flurry snowflakes stamped in Early Espresso ink on the Crumb Cake box.

Festive Flurry snowflake stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Cherry Cobbler cardstock, then cut out with a Festive Flurry Framelit. The edges were then sponged with Whisper White ink.

The snowman from the Snow Day stamp set stamped in Whisper White on Crumb Cake, then punched with the Christmas Ornament Punch.

A section of the "warm wishes" phrase from Snow Day stamped on Very Vanilla and punched out with the Word Window Punch.

A touch of Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the snowman heart.

Stampin_up_envelope_punch_board_box_2

The backside just shows you how the box flaps go together and the belly band helps hold it closed.

Today (Monday December 2nd) is the last day for the Holiday Sale, and to finish it off right, Stampin' Up! is offering one final blast of extra savings:

Stampin’Up! Wonderful Blessing Ornament!

Stampin’Up! Wonderful Blessing Ornament!

Hey there! We had a wonderful Saturday with our house full of family, good food, fun games, a personality quiz, and lots of laughter!

Cohen & Jaxon spent the night so Johnny & Jessica & Ava could take Maddie Kate to her first Cheer Competition in Mt Vernon, and Kimmy & Liam spent the night just because! SO FUN!

My project to share with you today is another from my upcoming Christmas Catch-up Class on December 13th! If you are local to me, please let me know of your intentions to come!

We will be using the Wonderful Blessing Single Stamp to create this easy ornament. I white heat-embossed the image on Midnight Muse cardstock, then cut it out with one of the Circle Collection Framelits. I layered it on a Silver Glimmer circle, then another Midnight Muse circle. I used my hot glue gun to add the 1/8" Silver Ribbon to the back of the ornament.

Stampin_up_wonderful_blessing_1

Up super-close you can see the fine detail of the Wonderful Blessing image. I added just a touch of bling with a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the Christmas star.

Stampin_up_wonderful_blessing_3

On the back side I covered the hot-glued ribbon with a circle of Winter Frost Specialty Designer Paper, then a Whisper White circle that I stamped with one of the phrases from More Merry Messages with Midnight Muse ink.

Stampin_up_wonderful_blessing_2

This is really an easy ornament. I need to make a few more of these even before the class on the 13th!

That's all for now. Thanks so much for stopping by. You can order the supplies to make your own from my Online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Best of Snow Hot Chocolate Pouch!

Stampin’ Up! Best of Snow Hot Chocolate Pouch!

Hey there! We are back home from our visit with our Tennessee family, and today we will be celebrating with all of our kids and grandkids! God is good!

Today I have a Hot Chocolate Pouch design to show you I cased from a UK demo, Monica Gale:

Stampin_up_best_of_snow_1

I used her basic design to construct the pouch (even used the Envelope Punch Board for the corner rounding!), but of course changed some things up a bit by using the Best of Snow stamp in the focal image, adding Northern Flurry Textured Impressions embossing, and using one of the phrases from More Merry Messages punched with the Modern Label Punch!

I went to Walmart to get some candy canes for these pouches and was amazed to find there were no traditional-just-red-and-white candy canes to be had! There were some teeny-tiny ones, but the rest were all blue, purple, orange, & pink! I'm guess I'm a candy-cane purist, as I'm not crazy to have my candy canes in weird colors! I ended up with these that do have a brown and a green stripe (they are chocolate-mint!), but while I was in TN I hunted some more and found REAL candy canes at a Publix grocery store in Franklin, TN! yay! You will probably see them in some future projects (if I don't end up eating them all, they are BOB's brand, which are the BEST!)

Stampin_up_best_of_snow_2

I just love this stamp from Best of Snow! It's been so cold lately I wish it would just go ahead and snow and put some fluffy white stuff on the ground!

This is one of the projects you can choose to make at my Christmas Catch Up Customer Appreciation Open House on December 13th!

ETA 8/23/15: I've had TWO requests for the directions to make this project in the past week, so I am posting it here for you:

Download Northern Flurry Hot Cocoa Cup

Well, I have bunches to do before the kids start arriving shortly after noon! Lots of cooking and a bit of cleaning & laundry from our trip too!

Don't forget there are just a few more days to get your order in from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Sale flyer!

You can view the sale flyer HERE   as well as place your order! Don't forget to check out the Weekly Deals tab and the Clearance Rack too!

That's all for now! I just received a new batch of my monthly swaps, so come back tomorrow for a bunch of fun giftcard ideas for Sunday Swap Day!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

I'm planning one final stamping event at my house on December 13th (yes, a Friday, I'm not superstitous!), "Christmas Catch-Up Customer Appreciation Open House!" This will be one of the projects you can choose to make:

Stampin_up_gift_bow_die_angel_1

Winter Frost Specialty Designer Paper #132341 $12.95
