Stampin’ Up! Spirited Snowmen CASE and Twist!

Hey there! Today I have three cards to share with you, two based on a swap I received recently from Tamie Ackerson with the Spirited Snowmen stamp set:

The Real Red/Whisper White card in the center is Tamie's, the two Night of Navy/Whisper White ones on each side are mine. Tamie's is all heat embossed with Silver powder.

My first CASE is Night of Navy layered on a Whisper White Thick card base. The snow couple is heat embossed with white powder, the sentiment from Merry Christmas to All is heat embossed with silver powder, and the snowflakes from Spirited Snowmen are heat embossed with white powder.

After heating I added Clear Wink of Stella to the hats and bodies of the snow couple for extra shimmer!

Inside I stamped the snowflakes with Night of Navy ink as well as the sentiment from the Warm Hearted Host Set.

For my second CASE, I used all of the same stamps and embossing powders but added an extra touch to the snowflakes. Can you guess what it is?

It's more Clear Wink of Stella!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Sentiments with Inlaid Embossing!

Hey there! Today's card was created with Snowflake Sentiments stamps, Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, and the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I was inspired to create these cards by Lyssa Zwolanek, a friend from my Founder's Circle Days.

I used the "Inlaid Embossing" Technique to adhere the strips of Festive Farmhouse Designer Paper to the Very Vanilla layer first, then embossing the entire layer with the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This technique makes the designer paper look like it has become one with the Very Vanilla paper!

I stamped the Snowflake Sentiments greeting with Cherry Cobbler ink on a 2" x 4" Very Vanilla piece that I punched on one end with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. After I cut down a piece of 5/8" Striped Burlap Trim to about 1/4" wide, I tied it in a bow through the ribbon slot. The tag is adhered to the card with dimensionals.

I kept my inside stamping all Cherry Cobbler. I love those small flourishes from Snowflake Sentiments!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Sentiments with Inlaid Embossing!

I kept my inside stamping all Cherry Cobbler. I love those small flourishes from Snowflake Sentiments!

My second version started with an Old Olive card base:

Both cards were embellished with a sprig punched from a piece of Joyous Noel 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day November 25th!

The Beautiful Blizzard Bundle has five fun greetings to use for more than just Christmas cards.

This card would be perfect for a birthday!

Night in Bethlehem was used by another anonymous creator (we made this card at class last week where I think I lost the name on the back) with the Black Ice Technique:

The Black Ice Technique involves dragging the Jet Black StazOn pad lightly over the stamped images, then pressing the Versamark pad all over the piece. Sprinkling with Clear Embossing Powder and heating with the Heat Tool completes the technique.

Wrapping the Christmas Pines greeting layer with Silver Metallic Thread and adding a Silver Metallic-Edged bow is the perfect finishing touch!

Stampin’ Up! Tags & Tidings One Last Set of Christmas Tags!

Hey there! Did you shop till you dropped yesterday? I try to not shop on Black Friday, mainly because we have our family Thanksgiving on Saturday, and today's the day! The turkey is cooking, pies and desserts are being made, and are whole family will be here! yay!

I used the Tags & Tidings Bundle, Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Paper, and Sweetly Stitched Framelits to create another set of tags:

The Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine comes with three colors: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, and Mossy Meadow.

I tied little bows with the twine and then added them to my tags with a glue dot.

I punched the tag to with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch so I could thread Cherry Cobbler Cotton Twine for a tie.

This tag is perfect for all of those little treats you need to give to co-workers and friends!

LOVE the gingerbread boy!

Stampin’ Up! Tags & Tidings One Last Set of Christmas Tags!

I used the Tags & Tidings Bundle, Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Paper, and Sweetly Stitched Framelits to create another set of tags:

Now to share some more Tags & Tidings Tags! For today's collection of tags I chose another print from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Paper to cut my 2" x 3" tags, then punched one end with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I cut 2" x 2 1/4" pieces of the more Festive Farmhouse paper with the nested hearts from the Sweetly Stitched Framelits, then layered on more Tags & Tidings pieces embossed with white on Wood Textures Designer Paper.

I love the plaid combined with the Wood Textures and the Mossy Meadow/sparkle print! I tied tiny bows with Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine to add with a glue dot.

Adorable!

I love the gingerbread man combined with the stitched heart!

I love every one of these tags! I can't decide which one is my favorite, can you?
