Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Fun Fold!

Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Fun Fold!

Hey there! I'm back-tracking just a little bit today to show you another card I created with Verdant Garden. This card uses a fold I can only call a "fun-fold" because if it has a name I don't know what it is! lol!

I'm really enjoying this color combo: Soft Seafoam, Rococo Rose, and Whisper White. After stamping the vines on both front panels with Pear Pizzazz ink, I embossed them with the Subtle 3-D folder.

Stampin_up_verdant_garden_carolpaynestamps4

I added stamped-off Pear Pizzazz vines to the greeting I cut out with a Stitched Label Die. I colored some White 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon with a Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blend to match.

Stampin_up_verdant_garden_carolpaynestamps2

Inside I used the same Beautiful Bouquet greeting as before, stamped with Rococo Rose ink and surrounded by stamped-off Pear Pizzazz vines.

Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Anniversary!

Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Anniversary!

Hey there! I'm finally getting back into the swing of things! My weekend was full of taking care of three of the four  Hiller Grands, which included blueberry picking with my new daughter-in-law Grace, (lots of fun) and an encounter for Oakley with a skunk (NOT fun)! I plan to keep tomato juice on hand for the future as it DOES work on skunk smell. I'm also keeping my grand-dog, Charlie, while my oldest daughter's family is on vacation, so it's been a regular grandkid/pet hotel around here. I'd give up stamping to do it, and you know how much I love to stamp!

Today I have a card created with the Verdant Garden stamp set and the Stamparatus.

The Stamparatus is a GREAT tool to give you precise placement on your card front, which is particularly important when you are stamping without the benefit of punching or cutting out the greeting with a die.

Stampin_up_verdant_garden_anniversary_carolpaynestamps1

You can also re-stamp the image in the exact same place if you need better ink coverage. After stamping I embossed the layer with the Subtle 3-D folder.

Stampin_up_verdant_garden_anniversary_carolpaynestamps2

I added three clear Frosted Flower Embellishements, then added a single pearl in each.

Stampin_up_verdant_garden_anniversary_carolpaynestamps3-1

Inside I used a sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet.

Stampin’ Up! Shimmering Silhouette Scenes!

Stampin’ Up! Shimmering Silhouette Scenes!

Hey there! Today it's back to Silhouette Scenes with a lot of shimmer! I just can't get over how gorgeous the See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper is! When I first saw it in the catalog it was my least favorite, but seeing it in person and playing with it has definitely changed my mind!

Stampin_up_silhouette_scenes_carolpaynestamps1-1

The umbrella couple image just begged me to emboss it with the new Shimmer Black embossing powder, so I stamped and embossed it on another piece of the Blueberry Bushel night-sky See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper.

Stampin_up_silhouette_scenes_carolpaynestamps2-1

I used a Sweet Silhouette die to cut the "forever" from Silver Foil, then adhered with tiny dots of Liquid Glue.

Stampin_up_silhouette_scenes_carolpaynestamps3

Inside I used sentiments from both Silhouette Scenes and Darling Label Punch Box, then cut out a tree with the Sweet Silhouette dies and added snippets of the branches with liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes!

Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes!

Hey there! Today I'm playing with the See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper, but this time I'm using the Silhouette Scenes Bundle of stamps and dies that are together in the See A Silhouette Suite. This card came together very quickly!

This fabulous tree is the star of the show! I chose this gorgeous Blueberry Bushel design from the See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper to give the look of a night sky because I wanted to highlight the magnificent tree silhouette cut with a Sweet Silhouette die from Basic Black card stock.

Stampin_up_silhouette_scenes_carolpaynestamps1

I adhered the tree to the front with tiny dots of liquid glue. I only dotted the glue on the tips of the branches and the branch stems themselves. It would drive me bonkers to try to put a dot of glue on every leaf!

I stamped the greeting from Silhouette Scenes with black ink, then punched with the Darling Label Punch.

Stampin_up_silhouette_scenes_carolpaynestamps2

Inside I stamped the couple from Silhouette Scenes with black ink, and used a sentiment from the Darling Label Punch Box stamps set, also in black ink. This couple reminds me so much of our soon-to-be bride & groom, Logan & Faith!

Stampin’ Up! Praiseworthy Prose!

Stampin’ Up! Praiseworthy Prose!

Hey there! I love the Hand-lettered Prose Dies! The word possibilities are endless!

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps1

I cut the letters from Magnolia Lane Designer Paper.

I cut "hap" with one pass through the machine, then cut the "py". Easy!

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps11

My first creation uses the negative of the letters:

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps7

I layered  Magnolia Lane over Petal Pink card base to make the letters "pop"!

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps8

I heat embossed the Well Said "ANNIVERSARY" with Shimmer Black Powder on a 3/4" strip of Petal Pink, adding a tiny bow from Bird Ballad Trinkets.

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps9

Inside I used another Well Said phrase, adding a bloom from Magnolia Lane cut with a Magnolia Memory die. The heart is from Praiseworthy Prose, colored with a Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blend.

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps10

My second card uses the positive letters popped up on a stamped Petal Pink layer with snippets of Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps2

I stamped the background layer with a Praiseworthy Prose "definition" phrase using Petal Pink ink. I found a Frosted Flower embellishment was the perfect color to match, then added a single rhinestone for sparkle.

Stampin_up_praiseworthy_prose_carolpaynestamps4

I stacked all of the sentiments from both cards on the inside.
