Stampin’ Up! Hand-Lettered Prose for Fiona!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the card I created to go with the gift I gave Kimberly at her "sprinkle" for her new baby girl coming in February!

Her name is Fiona Everly! The name "Fiona" is Irish, to match her older siblings, Liam & Darcy, so I used the Hand-Lettered Prose dies to cut out her name to put on the card front. I embossed the Rococo Rose card layer with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder before adding the die cut letters with a thin line of Liquid Glue.

I assembled the letters in order on a scrap of Whisper White card stock, then held them in place with a strip of washi tape before cutting with the die cutting/embossing machine.

"Fiona" is the cutest name, and it looks great cut out with these dies!

Inside I stamped the "bundle of joy" phrase from the coordinating Praiseworthy Prose stamp set with coordinating Rococo Rose ink. You will find coordinating colors in card stock, ink, and many embellishments throughout the Stampin' Up! catalog!

Stampin’ Up! Praiseworthy Prose!

Hey there! I love the Hand-lettered Prose Dies! The word possibilities are endless!

I cut the letters from Magnolia Lane Designer Paper.

I cut "hap" with one pass through the machine, then cut the "py". Easy!

My first creation uses the negative of the letters:

I layered Magnolia Lane over Petal Pink card base to make the letters "pop"!

I heat embossed the Well Said "ANNIVERSARY" with Shimmer Black Powder on a 3/4" strip of Petal Pink, adding a tiny bow from Bird Ballad Trinkets.

Inside I used another Well Said phrase, adding a bloom from Magnolia Lane cut with a Magnolia Memory die. The heart is from Praiseworthy Prose, colored with a Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blend.

My second card uses the positive letters popped up on a stamped Petal Pink layer with snippets of Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the background layer with a Praiseworthy Prose "definition" phrase using Petal Pink ink. I found a Frosted Flower embellishment was the perfect color to match, then added a single rhinestone for sparkle.

I stacked all of the sentiments from both cards on the inside.
