Stampin’ Up! Meant to Be Two Four Six Eight Box!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you an oldie-but-goodie, the 2, 4, 6, 8 Box! This fun fold box has been around for ages, but it's till fresh when you use the most current products!

I combined the Meant to Be Bundle with All My Love Designer Series Paper, highlighting Lovely Lipstick, Powder Pink, and Whisper White to create a sweet little box to hold a few treats.

The body of the box is embossed with the Tufted Dynamic Folder:

Stampin_up_meant_to_be_carolpaynestamps2

Be Mine Framelits cut the hearts and I colored a Heart Epoxy Droplet with a Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blend.

After scoring, then cut and fold:

Stampin’ Up! Flip-Lid Treat Box!

Stampin’ Up! Flip-Lid Treat Box!

Hey there! Valentines Day is one month from today! Yikes! Doesn't it seem like Christmas was only a few days ago?

I found the pattern for this box on another Stampin' Up! Demonstrator's Facebook page, but I can't find it now. Her dimensions were centimeters, so I converted to inches:

Stampin_up_meant_to_be_carolpaynestamps2

I embellished with the Meant to Be bundle I received free from a party I submitted. It's a $53 bundle, but right now with a $250 party/order you get an extra $25, resulting in $5o free. Choose the Meant to Be Bundle and pay a mere $3!

Stampin_up_meant_to_be_carolpaynestamps3

The box is Crumb Cake. The belly-band, scalloped heart, and sentiment are all Lovely Lipstick.  I added strips of All My Love Designer Paper to the belly-band.

Stampin_up_meant_to_be_carolpaynestamps1

I colored a Heart Epoxy Droplet, from the All My Love Suite, with a Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend.

Stampin_up_meant_to_be_carolpaynestamps4

The thumb-grab punched with a 3/4" Circle Punch.

Stampin_up_meant_to_be_carolpaynestamps5

I wrapped 1" x 3" strips of All My Love Designer Paper around Hershey's Nuggets, nestling in a bit of tissue paper.

Stampin_up_meant_to_be_carolpaynestamps6

I will edit this post later this week to include the box dimensions and a diagram.

Stampin’ Up! Snowfall Thinlets!

Stampin’ Up! Snowfall Thinlets!

Hey there! I'm getting ready for a craft fair tomorrow, and while I haven't had as much time to get ready as I would like, I have been able to use the new Snowfall Thinlets to embellish another clear glass block! I cut Silver and Sparkle Glimmer Paper and retired Red Glimmer to create this:

Stampin_up_snowfall_thinlets_carolpaynestamps5

This block is larger than the one I shared with you yesterday, measuring 8" x 8", I cut the Vellum card stock 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" so most of it would be embossed with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions folder. I cut the all of the snowflakes with the Limited-Edition Snowfall Thinlets. I cut most of the snowflakes from Silver Glimmer Paper, but I cut one from Sparkle Glimmer to layer on top of the largest snowflake. All of the snowflakes and the greeting were cut with a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet already on the back so all I had to do was remove the protective backing to expose the adhesive and stick on the vellum!

Stampin_up_snowfall_thinlets_carolpaynestamps6

The Snowfall Thinlets are 20 dies, all coordinating with both the Snow is Glistening and Happiness Surrounds stamp sets which are also Limited-Edition through November 30th or while supplies last! "Merry" was cut with a Merry Christmas Thinlet.

Stampin_up_snowfall_thinlets_carolpaynestamps7-1

Lights on! The bow is from the craft store on a roll. I used about 56 inches of the wire-edged ribbon to wrap the block and tie the simple bow. I put a string of 35 clear lights inside.

Stampin_up_snowfall_thinlets_carolpaynestamps1

Flat. These are quick and fun to make!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas to All Glass Block!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas to All Glass Block!

Hey there! Welcome to November!  I had to step into Hobby Lobby yesterday, and even though I only needed "just one thing", I walked out $95 poorer! lol!

I'm preparing for a craft fair this weekend, so I'm on the lookout for nifty ideas. I ran across bare glass blocks made to put Christmas lights in and was inspired to go home and create! I used Joyous Noel 6"x 6" Glimmer Paper and Big Shot dies from three different sets in the Holiday Catalog to create this:

Stampin_up_merry_christmas_carolpaynestamps3

I cut Joyous Noel 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper with Merry Christmas Thinlet dies. I adhered a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of the paper for easy attachment to the embossed Vellum. I attached the vellum to the block with glue dots after I  embossed with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It's hard to tell from the picture, but "Merry" is cut from Copper and "Christmas" is cut from Merry Merlot Glimmer Paper!

Stampin_up_merry_christmas_carolpaynestamps4

I cut the tree from Tranquil Tide Glimmer with an In The Woods Framelits Die. This die cuts both the outline  and the branches so they can be "fluffed" out for dimension.

Stampin_up_merry_christmas_carolpaynestamps5

I cut the white tree from Sparkle Glimmer Paper with another In The Woods Framelits Die, and the Soft Suede deer with a Detailed Deer Thinlet. After I cut out the deer I embossed them with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder.

Stampin_up_merry_christmas_carolpaynestamps6

With the block standing up and the lights turned on in the dark:

Stampin_up_merry_christmas_carolpaynestamps2

Laying down:

Stampin_up_merry_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

I created another version with the Merry Christmas Thinlets and Detailed Deer Dies. I embossed the vellum with the Woodland Textured Impressions folder.

Carol Payne Stamps Takeout Thinlets Treat Box!

Carol Payne Stamps Takeout Thinlets Treat Box!

Hey there! Today's share is with the new Takeout Treats Bundle from the Holiday Catalog. I created it to coordinate with the Alpine Adventure projects I've been sharing and will be included in my Alpine Adventure Class in early November!

I used the Takeout Thinlets to make this little snowy treat box, decorating the sides with Tin Tile-embossed Smoky Slate and white craft ink sponging. I love the snowflake die from the Alpine Sports Thinlets!

Stampin_up_takeout_treats_carolpaynestamps1

These little boxes are a snap to put together! If you want to make party favors, Thanksgiving table treats, Christmas goodie gifts, baby shower favors, Valentine Treats, this bundle is just what you need!

I stamped the greeting from Takeout Treats with Shaded Spruce in, punched with the 1 1/4" Circle, then layered it on Real Red punched with the 1 3/8" Scalloped Circle. I adhered the circle to one flap of the box closure.

Stampin_up_takeout_treats_carolpaynestamps3
Finishing touches are a bow tied with  Garden Green Baker's Twine and Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes. The holly leaves are also a stamp from Takeout Treats.

Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop August Edition: Holiday Catalog from the Incentive Trip!

Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop August Edition: Holiday Catalog from the Incentive Trip!

Alaska Achievers

Hey there and welcome to the Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop! Our theme for August is the Highlights from the trip and the Holiday Catalog!

First, a few highlights from our Alaska Cruise, compliments of Stampin' Up!

Fabulous vistas and glaciers!  These pics will never do the real thing justice! Blue ice is incredible!

Stampin_up_alaska_glacier_carolpaynestamps1

A trip via narrow-gauge rail, up into the Yukon!

Stampin_up_white_pass_railway_carolpaynestamps2

These trees are MUCH OLDER than they look! The harsh winters here have stunted growth!

Stampin_up_white_pass_railroad_carolpaynestamps1

I was just pinching myself every day to really be here and sharing it all with my love!

Stampin_up_skagway_carolpaynestamps1

Pillow gifts were exciting to discover every evening after dinner!

Stampin_up_pillow_gifts_carolpaynestamps1

My creation this month is with the Wishing You Well set from page 35 of the Holiday Catalog. I covered a small legal pad as my gift to my team members at Vacation Stamping School last weekend and the card is just because!

Stampin_up_wishing_you_well_carolpaynestamps1

After embossing the layer of Crushed Curry with the new Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions folder, I slathered it and Early Espresso layer with new Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint! Love this stuff!

Stampin_up_wishing_you_well_carolpaynestamps2

The simplicity of these images let you create a theme for any season!

Stampin_up_wishing_you_well_carolpaynestamps3

The only part that is the least bit fussy is the bow, which I cut with Paper Snips.

Stampin_up_wishing_you_well_carolpaynestamps4

I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add shimmer to the Cajun Craze-stamped bow!

Stampin_up_wishing_you_well_card_carolpaynestamps3
The card is a mirror of the notebook!

Stampin_up_wishing_you_well_card_carolpaynestamps1

Inside I used a Dashing Deer sentiment:
