Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Kisses Sunny Splash!
Hey there! My card today is my last in the series with the Butterfly Kisses 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper pack. I felt like these two prints together had a tropical look to them, so I decided to combine them with the Sunny Splash stamp set!
I stamped the swimsuit on Basic White with Parakeet Party ink, then cut with the Stylish Shapes oval die. I set the outside white ring aside for a future project and then cut Calypso Coral with the same die to use add the frame around the suit. I added the suit oval with dimensionals and the outside frame with tiny slivers of dimensionals. I added an Iridescent Rhinestone for some bling on the suit.
For the background I adhered two strips of Butterfly Kisses designer, the flowered print is 2" x 5", and the Parakeet Party diagonal lined print is 1 3/4" x 5". I embossed the layers with the Cascading Ruffles 3D embossing folder before adhering to the card front. I added a couple more Iridescent Rhinestones for a bit more sparkle.
I stamped the greeting with Calypso Coral ink on a 3/4" x 2 5/8" Basic White strip, then cut one end into banner points with Paper Snips. I adhered this also with dimensionals.
Inside I embossed the Parakeet Party layer with the Cascading Ruffles folder again, adhered, then added a 1" wide strip of Butterfly Kisses to a white layer stamped with the sentiment with Calypso Coral ink. I then used a Scalloped Contours Die to cut the sentiment layer before adhering. I stamped another sentiment from Sunny Splash on the envelope flap.
