Stampin’ Up! Baby Wipes Christmas Pines!

Stampin’ Up! Baby Wipes Christmas Pines!

Hey there! The Hello December Christmas card class is in it's final day today and I wanted to share with you a swap that I chose to feature as one of the cards my stampers can make. It's a swap I received from Judy Anderson. I added a few things and finished the inside to make it my own:

Stampin_up_christmas_pines_carolpaynestamps1

Elegant Eggplant and Always Artichoke is an unexpected but pleasing color combo for Christmas!

Stampin_up_christmas_pines_carolpaynestamps3

I added the Mini Pinecone embellishment beside the paper pinecone stamped with the Baby Wipe Technique!

Baby Wipe Technique:

Fold a single baby wipe into fourths. Lay on a non-porous surface. Start by adding a few drops of Pear Pizzazz ink to the custom "ink pad".

Stampin_up_christmas_pines_carolpaynestamps4

Then add drops of Wisteria Wonder ink to fill in around and between the Pear Pizzazz.

Stampin_up_christmas_pines_carolpaynestamps5

Ink the stamp with this custom-colored ink pad!

Stampin_up_christmas_pines_carolpaynestamps6

Cut out the pine cone with one of the dies in the Christmas Pines Thinlets set.

Stampin_up_christmas_pines_carolpaynestamps7

Paint the edges of the pine cone with a Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

Stampin_up_christmas_pines_carolpaynestamps9

Tap the side of the Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush against the brush's lid to get the "splatter" look.

Stampin’ Up! Presents & Pinecones Bells!

Stampin’ Up! Presents & Pinecones Bells!

Hey there! Yesterday I finished up my prep for my Hello December Christmas Card Buffet. We are making 8 cards for $2 each, most of which I had already determined a couple of weeks ago, but I still had one more to create, so I used Seasonal Bells again!

Stampin_up_seasonal_bells_carolpaynestamps1

Presents and Pinecones Designer Paper is still on sale Buy 3 Get 1 Free until the 3st, so I used one of the prints from the pack as my inspiration!

Stampin_up_seasonal_bells_carolpaynestamps2

To mimic the bells in the paper I stamped the snowflake bell with Cherry Cobbler on Delightful Dijon, then punched with the Bell Punch.  I also used the Holly Berry Happiness Bundle to stamp and punch the cherry Cobbler Bow.

I embossed the Mint Macaron background layer with the Holly folder.

I used Layering Squares Framelits to cut the Whisper White greeting layer (from Holly Berry Happiness) and the Cherry Cobbler scalloped mat behind it.

Stampin_up_seasonal_bells_carolpaynestamps3

I kept the inside clean and simple with a sentiment from Holly Berry Happiness and bits of Warmth & Cheer Designer Washi Tape.

If you live local to me in Southern Illinois, contact me for more of the details of this fun class!

Stampin Up! Thailand Achiever’s Blog Hop October Edition Inspired By Nature!

Stampin Up! Thailand Achiever’s Blog Hop October Edition Inspired By Nature!

14500229_1128908227162211_2750231431325798662_o

Hey there! Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achiever's Blog Hop for October . This is our first hop with those that have earned the prestige trip with Stampin' Up!® to Thailand  next July. This month our theme is "Inspired by Nature", as many of us live in different areas around the world and have varied seasons to enjoy.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Carol Payne Stamps,  or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Carol Payne.

With Christmas crafting in full swing, my thoughts for nature turned to a new stamp set and framelits I have just started playing with from the Holiday Catalog, Santa's Sleigh!

Stampin_up_santa's_sleigh_carolpaynestamps1

In addition to the sleigh, this set contains an awesome pine tree and a reindeer. The coordinating (and bundled to save 10%) Santa's Sleigh Thinlet dies contain dies to cut out both the tree and the deer, making this card so easy to create!

Stampin_up_santa's_sleigh_carolpaynestamps3

I stamped a forest of trees with Always Artichoke ink on Always Artichoke card stock, then stamped the deer with Crumb Cake on both sides of Kraft 12"x12" cardstock. The Kraft cardstock is one shade lighter on one side than the other.  It's like having two colors in one sheet!

Stampin_up_santa's_sleigh_carolpaynestamps4

To give a look of frostiness on the cut-out pine I brushed on Clear Wink of Stella.

Stampin_up_santa's_sleigh_carolpaynestamps5

The greeting is from Santa's Sleigh, cut with a Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlet. I tied a piece of Cherry Cobbler thread from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack in an simple bow.

Stampin_up_santa's_sleigh_carolpaynestamps7

Inside I used more Santa's sleigh stamps to decorate the modified z-fold.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss any of it!  Remember, you are at my blog – Carol Payne, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Thursday!

Hey there! It's Sunday Swap Day on Thursday!  yay! These swaps also feature designer paper that's on sale this month B3G1F, so you NEED to see these!

First, Tamie Ackerson used Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and Christmas Magic to create a super cute card!

Stampin_up_christmas_magic_carolpaynestamps1

The gingerbread houses are pre-printed on one design of Candy Cane Lane, making it simple to hand-cut and pop on your card! A little dash of glue and a sprinkle of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter give a snowy look!

Stampin_up_christmas_magic_carolpaynestamps2

Next, Teri Gaines used Candy Cane Lane paper, Cable Knit Dynamic folder, and Cookie Cutter Christmas to create a card with a surprising fold!

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_christmas_carolpaynestamps2

A fun fold but not a lot of extra paper used!

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

Crystal Brown punched a pair of gingerbread boys with the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle (stamps & punch), and used Candy Cane Lane paper and Kraft Rope Trim.

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_christmas_carolpaynestamps3

Frances Wagner used the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions folder for the background of her Cookie Cutter Christmas card. She punched the sentiment from Oh, What Fun (Annual Catalog) with the Duet Banner Punch.

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_christmas_carolpaynestamps4

Amy Combs also cut out the gingerbread house from Candy Cane Lane Designer Paper, mounting it on an In Color Doily, and using strips of Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape for the background.

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_christmas_carolpaynestamps5

Dianna Richards cut Candy Cane Lane Designer Paper into banner strips and punched a window with the Best Badge punch.

Stampin_up_suite_seasons_carolpaynestamps1

She embossed the Suite Seasons sentiment with Read Red Stampin' Glitter.

Stampin_up_suite_seasons_carolpaynestamps3
