Stampin’ Up! Secret Garden Single Layer Card!

Stampin’ Up! Secret Garden Single Layer Card!

Hey there! Here's one of the cards I worked on last week. I used the Secret Garden stamp set with Melon Mambo, Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight, and Jet Black StazOn:

"hey there friend" is from the Starter Kit you get when you subscribe to  My Paper Pumpkin . I custom-dyed White Organza Ribbon with my Melon Mambo inkpad and a Stampin' Sponge.

Inside is a sentiment from Really Good Greetings. I love that set, and that phrase!

The envelope is stamped with the same stamps and colors, and I found a design in the Gingham Garden Designer Paper pack that had perfect color coordination in it's blooms!

That's all for now. You can always order your supplies from my Online Store HERE.

Stampin' Up! published their new set of Weekly Deals! Here they are, all 25% off:

Stampin’ Up! Hippity Hoppity Hip Notes!

Stampin’ Up! Hippity Hoppity Hip Notes!

Hey there! Hope you've had a good day. I had a short visit from Jessica and her little boys (Cohen & Jaxon) for a few hours this evening, so add in some stamping earlier today and it's been practically perfect!

My card for you tonight is an original Carol Payne from start to finish! No CASEing, just a new punch treatment for an cute little bunny, and the greeting from Hip Notes makes it perfect for a spring birthday!

Stampin_up_hip_notes_1 - Copy

I used lots of oval punches for this little fellow. I sponged the Baked Brown Sugar cardstock with Whisper White craft ink, and the lining of his ears and his nose are Blushing Bride Designer Paper and cardstock.

Inside the card I continued the oval theme to layer the greeting from Really Good Greetings.

Here's the supply list for today's project. You can purchase all of them from My Online Store:

That's all for now. Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Flower Shop Bundle!

Stampin’ Up! Flower Shop Bundle!

Good morning! Hope you are enjoying a long July 4th weekend! Today I want to share with you another card we will be making at my SWOW class next weekend using the Flower Shop Bundle, Dictionary Background stamp, the My Paper Pumpkin Try It Kit, and the Four You stamp set!

The Flower Shop Bundle listed on page 95 is one of several bundles Stampin' Up! is featuring in the New Catalog this year. Stamps are bundled with a coordinating punch or framelits to give the stamper a 15% discount when they buy the two products together! Look for the blue-framed bundles to get the item code and prices for a Wood-Mount Bundle or a Clear-Mount Bundle!

Flower shop 1

The colors are Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, and Perfect Plum. I found my color combo by using the NEW Color Coach! I've never really been a Color Coach fan, but after fooling around with this one a bit, I think I'm going to be using it more and more all the time! I LOVE these colors together!

Sahara Sand
Blushing bride
Perfect Plum

I made the flower centers with the Simply Pressed Clay and the "blossom" mold from the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds. After pressing a little ball of the clay into the mold I popped it into the freezer for about 10-30 minutes (depending on how long it took me to remember to take it out, lol!), then popped the blossom out of the mold. After allowing it to air-dry for about 24 hours, I first spritzed them with a mixture of 91% rubbing alcohol and reinker, allowed that to dry for a few minutes, then used a Sponge Dauber to sponge on additional ink. They were then attached to the flower with a Glue Dot. The leaves are Pear Pizzazz and were punched with the Bird Builder Punch.

Flower shop 3

Inside I stamped a phrase from Really Good Greetings on page 38, then added another leaf branch and a couple of tiny flowers punched with the 4-petal flower punch in the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. I used my White Gel Pen for the flower centers.

Flower shop 2

Well, that's all for today!  If you want to make this card, you can either visit my Online Store by clicking on the "Shop Now" button on the upper left side of this blog or RSVP to come to the SWOW class next weekend on the 12th or the 13th!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope the rest of your day Stampingrox!

Stampin’Up! Best of Butterflies Smile!

Stampin’Up! Best of Butterflies Smile!

Good morning! Lightning quick post here! I'm getting ready for my "Best Of" Class this morning, so this must be quick!

Smile 1

Inspired by Debbie Henderson, I loved her card and wanted to use it for my class, so I created a slightly changed version. I'm not going to detail my changes here, but the "smile" stamp is from the new Happy Day stamp set and the butterfly is from the Best of Butterflies 25th Anniversary Collection set.

Smile 2

I LOVE this saying from Really Good Greetings, and the designer paper is from the black-and-white pack, Modern Medley!

That's all for now! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Mosaic Madness and Kind & Cozy!

Stampin’Up! Mosaic Madness and Kind & Cozy!

Gooooood Morning! It's going to be REAAAALLLLY hot here today, so I am trying to get my post done for you before I go out for my walk! I need to get done before it gets hotter outside!

I have a couple more swaps for you this morning. As you probably know, this is my "marathon workshop" week-I had two workshops on Monday, one on Tuesday, will have one on Thursday, and one scheduled for Friday. Today is the only weekday this week without a workshop, so I hope to get a chance to do some creating and stamping today!

Since I have had zero time to stamp new-ness, I'm opening my swap vault to share these two little gems with you! Sadly, I'm not sure of the creators, as the longer swaps hang out at my house the less likely they are to retain their creator's info!

This first swap uses new Pistachio Pudding cardstock, Mosaic Madness stamp set, Mosaic punch, and Really Good Greetings stamp set!

Mosaic madness

This swap uses a set I've not had much time to use yet, but am determined to use SOON, Kind & Cozy!

Kind & cozy tamie ackerson

LOVE the new Gingham Garden Washi Tape on this one! It's so stinkin' CUTE!!!!!

Well, I'm going to run out of here RIGHT NOW and get my walk done so I can come back in and STAMP!!!! yay!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
