Stampin’ Up! Best of Retiring Part 2!

Hey there! I'm continuing my series of favorite creations using Retiring Stamps and accessories today. There's only 18 days left before the Retiring List expires!

I love strawberries! It's too bad I'm allergic, but that doesn't stop me from stamping them! This card is also stamped with the Fresh Fruit set. Check out the full blog post HERE.

Stampin’ Up! Helping Me Grow For The Last Day of 2016!

She stamped the borders with a Moroccan Nights mosaic image that frames the realistic daisies perfectly.

The sentiment from Time of Year Host set is easily cut with a Bunch of Banner's framelit die.

Stampin’ Up! Moroccan Nights!

Hey there! I finally played with my Morroccan Nights to make this with the Faux Diamonds technique!

This card didn't end up looking anything like what I originally planned, but I like this better! I started stamping the medallion and lantern with Black StazOn ink on a white, sponging with Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, and Emerald Envy. I HATED it. I almost threw it in the trash, but decided to try the Faux Diamonds technique and it was saved!

Faux Diamonds Technique: Press a Versamark pad all over the panel. Cover with Heat & Stick Powder. Heat from the underside with a Heat Tool. Heat a fourth of the panel at a time, just until the powder melts. Cover with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Tap off excess glitter. Heat glittered area again from underneath before moving to the next section to melt the powder. When entire panel is covered with glitter, give it a quick blast on top to heat-set.

I adhered to a Basic Black panel embossed with the Festive Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, then adhered to a Bermuda Bay panel with dimensionals. The greeting is from Best Birds.

I used the same sequence of layers inside, stamping with black ink.

Stampin’ Up! Moroccan Nights!
