Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Gift Card Holders!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Gift Card Holders!

Hey there! The November theme of the monthly swap I participate in was punch art and/or gift card holders, and oh my, did everyone really go all out!

I've divided them up into a few day's worth of ideas, so be prepared to be WOW'd!

This first swap combines the Seasonal Chums stamp set with the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for a really cute and easy gift card holder:

Whisper White and the Pool Party wintry print from the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper pack look perfectly "wintry"! The snowman has been colored with Stampin' Write Markers, then punched with the 2 1/4" Circle Punch. The edges are sponged with Pool Party ink.

Next, Cindy Ewertz used the Tags & Trimmings set with Layering Circle Framelits to create a classy gift card holder!

Just pull up the Whisper White layer to reveal the sentiment. This is where you would attach the gift card with glue dots.

Tags & Trimmings and the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (black & white plaid) are both retiring from the Holiday Catalog. You need to order by January 2nd, before they are gone!

I love the Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon she added. Just perfect! This ribbon is in the Annual Catalog, so you can still order it in January!

Finally,  nobody does Clean & Simple quite like Tamie Ackerson. Tamie combined the Watercolor Christmas set with Old Olive-striped Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper for her gift card holder. With just a hint of Cherry Cobbler framing the greeting, it's a Christmas Classic Combo!

She created the gift card pocket by simply punching a piece of designer paper with a circle punch before adhering to the opening flap.

Finally, she used a sentiment from Christmas Quilt (Also retiring! Hurry! Order this one and the matching Quilt Builder Framelits Dies before they are gone!) and a Watercolor Christmas image to finish the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels Box of Tags!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels Box of Tags!

Hey there! I finally had a chance to do some serious stamping yesterday! yay! My mojo had taken a vacation for a few days, which is NOT helpful at all, but when that happens I just start cutting paper for a future class or stamp up leftover kits from a past class and it usually returns pretty quickly!

I was needing some mojo badly because my projects for the November Creative Crew over on Splitcoaststampers was due, like literally yesterday; actually November 1st! I was able to finish all of my challenge projects and uploaded them all to the gallery last night. Whew!

Today I want to share with you a box of tags I created for the Creative Crew Sketch Challenge. We were to create our project using this sketch of a bunch of tags:

0c532417d16d313c8e0a7ed84406a7d2

With so many choices it was hard to decide! I finally decided to start with a box to hold a group of tags. I used this Mini File Box tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.  I used Merry Little Labels stamps, Everyday Label Punch, Crumb Cake, Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper, Silver Glimmer Paper, the Envelope Punch Board, and a Brights Enamel Shape (Real Red) to create this:

This little Mini File Box is absolutely adorable! I used this one for tags, but you could put a candy bar or a host of other things in it too!

After I decided t use the black & white plaid print from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper package, the whole thing came together really quickly. After I stamped "just for you" from Merry Little Labels with Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock, I punched with the Everyday Label Punch. I punched a second label from Basic Black card stock, cut it in half, and attached the ends to the top and bottom of the greeting label using SNAIL adhesive. The belly band was created from 7 1/2 inches of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. I cut a snowflake from Silver Glimmer Paper with a Seasonal Layers Thinlet Die. I adhered the greeting with dimensionals and the snowflake with a glue dot. I added a Brights Enamel Shape (heart) in the center of the snowflake to cover up the stickiness in the center from the glue dot.

That's all for now. I'll share the stack of tags I made to go with the box tomorrow! Sorry/not sorry to make you wait! lol!
