Stampin’ Up! Christmas with the Mams!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas with the Mams!

Hey there! A couple of weeks ago my team, the Yes, Mam! Stampers, gathered to have our annual Christmas Party. Everyone brought food, we exchanged gifts, and of course we stamped! I will be sharing what we stamped next week (Occasions and Sale-a-bration sneak peeks), but today I want to share with you Christmas creations by my sweet friend, Angie Lisk!

First, our gift exchange guidelines required either the gift to be made with Stampin' Up! or packaged using Stampin' Up! products.  Angie packaged up a set of fancy paper plates and Christmas napkins with a shiny bow and a simple tag she gussied up with a Hometown Greetings Edgelit.

Stampin_up_home_town_greetings edgelits_carolpaynestamps1

She took a simple piece of Whisper White card stock and turned it into a winter scene with the edgelit and the Big Shot. A punched hole and a bit of white ribbon and voila!

Stampin_up_home_town_greetingsedgelits_carolpaynestamps2

Next, Angie gave every one of her sister Mams a bottle of Bath & Body Works lotion in packaging she created herself!

Stampin_up_stitched_felt_embellishment_carolpaynestamps1

Created with Kraft card stock that is now retired, this box is sturdy!

Stampin_up_stitched_felt_embellishment_carolpaynestamps2

Angie adhered a bit of Christmas Quilt Designer Paper to the front of the belly band, then added a greeting layer cut with a Stitched Shapes and Layering Circle Framelits. She added one of our Stitched Felt Embellishments (still available but retiring) to complete the simple homespun look.

Stampin_up_stitched_felt_embellishment_carolpaynestamps3

I received a special gift from Angie, packaged in a gold foil Striped Treat Bag! A quick and simple packaging solution, Angie simply folded the top of this 4 3/4" x 7" bag over, and then added a Gold Library Clip and a tag created with the Merry Little Labels stamp set and Everyday Label Punch! The Gold Foil leaves were punched with the Leaf Punch from the Painted Harvest Bundle. Note: the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper and Merry Little Labels stamp set are retiring on January 2nd, but you can still order them in my Online store: http://bit.ly/shopwithCarolPayneStamps

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_carolpaynestamps1

Inside the bag was the cutest little present! Angie had ordered a custom-engraved  Block D just for me with my name and the cutest little owl on it!

She also gave me a custom-engraved bone folder!

Stampin’ Up! Gift Card Holder Inspiration Day #5!

Stampin’ Up! Gift Card Holder Inspiration Day #5!

Hey there! Today is the final installment of gift card holders I have to share with you for awhile. Are you glad? Are you tired of them? I’m not, but I do have a few other Christmas projects to share with you before the big day gets here, so I think it’s a good idea to be done for now.

Are you ready for Christmas? I’m getting closer, almost all of my shopping is done, thanks to online free shipping and a marathon shopping trip yesterday afternoon! Now to just get the rest of my wrapping done and to finish readying the house for the kids to come home!

The gift card holders I’m sharing today are not Christmas themed, so they can be used for anyone anytime of the year!

First, an anonymous creator used the Coffee Cafe’ stamp set and Coffee Cups Framelits Dies with Sahara Sand, Garden Green, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla:

Stampin_up_coffee_cafe_carolpaynestamps1

A belly-band keeps this wallet-style gift card holder together.

Stampin_up_coffee_cafe_carolpaynestamps2

This batch of gift card holders seems to be without their creators’ names, because this one using the Merry Little Labels stamp set, Layering Circle Framelits, Starburst Punch, and Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper is also nameless:

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_carolpaynestamps1

This adorable little pocket/pouch is secured by a miniature Velcro dot!

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_carolpaynestamps2

Finally a card with a name! Laura Milligan used the Wood Words stamp set with Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and Smoky Slate 1/2″ Gingham Ribbon  to create her versatile holder.

Stampin_up_wood_words_carolpaynestamps1

Laura’s extra touches of Delicate White Doily, 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon, and a 1″ Circle-punched greeting are all simple but effective.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Tuesday!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Tuesday!

Hey there! I'm continuing my share of the stack of gift card holders I've received as swaps this season. Today I'm away from my stack, so I don't have access to the creator's names, but I will come back and add them later today, hopefully.

Our first gift card holder today combines the Cookie Cutter Christmas set and punch with the Be Merry Designer Series Paper for a gift card "wallet" look. Stampin Blends were used to color the Santa before punching with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

Simply slide of the belly-band to reveal the pocket for the gift card!

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_christmas_carolpaynestamps3

Next, Merry Little Labels and the Everyday Label Punch combine with a Stitched Shapes oval framelit and Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper for a quick and easy festive look.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_carolpaynestamps1

Another belly-band was used to keep the "wallet" closed. The greetings on the inside are from Seasonal Chums.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_carolpaynestamps2

Finally for today, the hidden front-pocket style was used with this one that combines the Season Like Christmas set with Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper.

Stampin_up_season_like_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

A bit of Garden Green Stitched Satin Ribbon was added for some shine behind a combo of the Pretty Label Punch and the Duet Banner Punch to highlight the greeting from Season Like Christmas.

Stampin_up_season_like_christmas_carolpaynestamps2

The Pretty Label Punch was also used to create the opening for the gift card.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels Gift Tags!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels Gift Tags!

Hey there! I'm getting back into the swing of normal life after my trip to SLC last week for the Stampin' Up! OnStage Live event. I will start sharing some swaps from there tomorrow!

Today I have another set of gift tags I created for a class at the Elkville Library last week. They wanted to make Christmas gift tags, so I created these with Merry Little Labels, Snowflake Sentiments, Be Merry Designer Series Paper, and the Everyday Label, Scallop Tag Topper, and Pretty Label punches:

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps1

Snowflake Sentiments punched with the Pretty Label Punch:

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps2

Snowflake Sentiments punched with the Everyday Label Punch:

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps3

Merry Little Labels. The tag base is Crumb Cake punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch!

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps4

Be Merry Designer Series Paper background layer. I tied each tag with an 8 inch piece of Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps6

Behind each punched sentiment I added a Cherry Cobbler label punched with the same punch. I cut the Cherry Cobbler label in half with Paper Snips to "stretch" it behind the greeting.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps7

The Garden Green stamped "Let it Snow" is a favorite in the Merry Little Labels set.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps8

"Special Delivery" was stamped once with Cherry Cobbler ink and punched with the Pretty Label Punch, then stamped with Garden Green and hand-cut closely along each side before adhering over the Cherry Cobbler one with SNAIL.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps9

The back of each tag has this sentiment from Merry Little Labels. I used Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers to get the color right.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps5

Each tag has Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper snowflakes cut with one or two sizes of Swirly Snowflake Edgelit dies.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps10

I layered two snowflakes together with a glue dot for a more intricate design!

Stampin’ Up! Stampers Dozen Blog Hop November Foil, Foil, Foil!

Hey there and welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop for November! Our theme this month is Foil, Foil, Foil! Everyone on the hop is using foil sheets, designer paper, snowflakes, etc, in their projects! I can't wait to see what everyone is creating!

1723402_10152213035905070_85588169_n

For my project this month I used Merry Little Labels and Snowflake Sentiments stamps with Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper to create this:

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_foil_carolpaynestamps1

Starting with a Marina Mist card base, I layered on two different prints from the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper, followed by a gold snowflake from the Foil Snowflakes pack.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_foil_carolpaynestamps2

I heat embossed an image from the Merry Little Labels stamp set with gold powder on Whisper White, then punched it out with the Everyday Label Punch.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_foil_carolpaynestamps3

I wrapped Whisper White 1/8" Sheer Ribbon 6 times around the span of my fingers, then tied the center with another piece of the same ribbon to create a bow I adhered with a glue dot.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_foil_carolpaynestamps4

Inside I layered another piece of Year of Cheer Specialty, then added a white layer I heat embossed a Snowflake Sentiment phrase with gold powder.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels: the Tags!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels: the Tags!

Hey there! As promised, today I'm sharing the tags I created with the Merry Little Labels bundle (stamps and punch) to go in the Mini File Box I shared with you yesterday!

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps1

Aren't they just the loveliest pile? And they were so much fun to create!

Again, I embellished with snowflakes cut from Silver Glimmer with Seasonal Layers Thinlets and highlighted with Brights Enamel Shapes (Real Red)

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps2

The back of each tag is stamped with the "to: from:" in Merry Little Labels, inked with Stampin' Write Markers.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps3

I used Vintage Crochet Trim, found in the Halloween section of the Holiday Catalog, to tie onto the tops of the tags, which were punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

Stampin_up_merry_little_labels_tags_carolpaynestamps4
