Stampin’ Up! Symbols of Fortune Anniversary!

Hey there! I have a really pretty card to share with you today created with the Artistic Dies, Symbols of Fortune Specialty Designer Paper, and the Love & Happiness stamp set!

I started with a Soft Succulent base, then layered on 1" wide strips of Symbols of Fortune Specialty Paper. After I had then adhered the way I wanted (using liquid glue so I had a bit of "wiggle-room"), I then used my paper snips to trim the edges flush with the edges of the card base.

I cut the beautiful leaves from the Artistic Dies with Basic White card stock, then adhered with tiny dots of liquid glue. The row of three tiny pearls just added the perfect touch!

I added another partial strand of leaves to the lower right side, then heat-embossed the anniversary greeting from Love & Happiness with white embossing powder. Three more pearls and the card front was done!

Inside I used two more sentiments from Love & Happiness and added 1/2" wide strips of Symbols of Fortune Specialty to pull it all together.

Some of the Love & Happiness sentiments are so finely sized that a zoom is needed to be appreciated!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day January 16 – more Valentines!

Hey there! I'm back again today with more Valentine swaps to share with you!

First, a cute little Awesome Otters Valentine by Joyce Feraco! Joyce added a Shaker Shapes Polished Pink heart to the otter's hand!

Next, Amy Rich used For the Record with Sweet Talk Designer paper and Sweet Conversations stamps to create her easel valentine. She added Shimmery Crystal Effects to the heart in the center!

Sooo cute!

Carol Slack used the Love & Happiness Bundle with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies to create her valentine.

She added this heart embossed with the Bouquet of Love folder on the inside. You can really see the exquisite embossed detail!

Kathy Morgan also used the Love & Happiness Bundle to create this book-binding fold anniversary/valentine.

She also used Floral Hearts dies, Playful Pets Ribbon Combo pack, and Metallic Pearls.

She added so many sweet little details!

Sandy Carlson created her valentine with the Nuts & Bolts set, Stitched So Sweetly dies, and Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder.

The anonymous creator of this valentine used the new Gingham Embossing Folder, Sweet Conversations Bundle, Sweet Talk Designer Paper, Iridescent Rhinestones, and Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Acetate.

Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otters Valentine!

Hey there! Today I'm changing up things a bit with a valentine card I created with the Awesome Otters Sale-a-bration set!

After stamping the otter with Tuxedo Black ink I colored him with Stampin' Blends, then added a faint edge around him with a Light Pool Party Stampin' Blend.

I only colored the top half of the otter because I knew the bottom half would be covered with the piece of Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper.

I stamped a greeting from the Love & Happiness stamp set. I added a Fresh Freesia In Color Jewel for some sparkle.

I added a piece of Gorgeous Grape 3/8" Organdy Ribbon that I tied a knot in one end before adhering the ends to the back side of the So Saffron layer.

Inside I stamped a sentiment from the Awesome Otters stamp set, free to choose when you order $50, inside the card.

I also stamped this otter image and colored with the same Stampin' Blends I used on the front. See the product shopping list below to find the colors I used.
