Stampin’ Up! a Couple of Birthday Cards!

Stampin’ Up! a Couple of Birthday Cards!

Hey there! I arrived home last night from Leadership in Houston, TX and am both exhilarated and exhausted! Can you relate?

I have tons of fun new stuff to show you but none of it has been edited or sized to fit on my blog. When I sat down with my laptop I find that my mouse is apparently wearing out and will barely right click, so I found a couple of birthday swaps that you haven’t seen yet but are still current:

Stampin_up_zoo_review_1

These little guys from Zoo Review are just adorable. The creator (sorry, I’ve lost the name) used the masking technique to stamp the penguin in the middle, covered him with a mask, then stamped the same penguin on either side of him. SO KAY-UTE! The “you can never have too much happy” from Yippee-Skippee! matches perfectly with this little group of guys!

Stampin_up_chalk_talk_1

My second offering for you today uses a riot of punches to create the happy little clown and the pennant banner! The “happy BIG day” from the Chalk Talk set has a bit of a “big top” feel to it, don’t you think?

Well, this is all I can manage today without my trusty mouse working properly! I have to run some errands today, so in addition to getting my teeth cleaned, buying a new phone (Instagram, here I come!), and getting groceries, I will be purchasing a new mouse!

Today is the last day for the current Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals. To shop for those click HERE.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Blendabilities!

Stampin’Up! Blendabilities!

Hey there! It was day two the Leadership and we had a fun day today with a General Session with Pat Pearson, a motivational speaker, classes, and an evening of stamping Make n' Takes!

I checked out the Demonstrator Resource Center and found out more info about the Blendabilites, Fringe Scissors, and the Spiral Flower Die!

Stampin_up_leadership_blendabilities_colors

We were able to see the 12 colors of Blendabilities alcohol markers Stampin' Up! will be releasing soon! The 12 colors on this chart will have three markers, one of each color instensity! I am so excited about getting to play with these! There is also a flesh tone set and a color-remover marker! yay!

Well, I guess I'd better close for now. It's getting late, and even though I had much more planned to show you, the hotel lobby internet is not allowing me to upload any more pictures! Rats!

Tomorrow is the final day of Leadership. We have an all-attendee class in the morning and a closing General Session in the afternoon. We fly home on Sunday, so hopefully tomorrow evening the internet here will cooperate so I can show you more fun stuff!

Stampin’Up! Leadership Presentation!

Stampin’Up! Leadership Presentation!

Hey there! I've had an awesome day, the first day of the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference  in Houston, TX! It was my day to present at the Share Fair, and it was a blast!

Now, I know some of you are probably thinking, giving a presentation is a blast?!? But yes, it really was! It was also a bit nerve-wracking, of course, and my heart rate did go up, but overall it was an awesome experience, from the moment Emily Montoya called me to ask me to present back in November 2013 right up through today!

I was "wired for sound"!

Stampin_up_leadership_wired_for_sound_1

It was fun to see my name up on the big screen!

Stampin_up_leadership_presentation_4
I made sure I showed off my family!

Stampin_up_leadership_presentation_3

There was even a display board with my name and creations on it!

Stampin_up_leadership_presentation_1

I will be posting more details pictures of the projects in the near future! I used the "Yay for Cards" bundle from the Sale-a-bration 2014 brochure for my presentation. Be sure to ask me for a copy if you don't have a demonstrator of your own to receive one from! I would love to help you out!

I am grateful to Stampin' Up! for giving me the awesome opportunity to participate in their Leadership Conference! I stepped out of my comfort zone and learned so much!

There was also an Opening General Session today. We were privileged to hear Shelli Gardner, Co-founder of Stampin' Up!, speak. Her daughter, Sarah Douglas, gave a stamping presentation. During Sarah's presentation, she showed up some new products we will be getting in the next few months! We all flipped because:

drum roll, please . . .  .

1.We are getting Alcohol-based Markers! 12 sets of colors, three shades per pack of the same color, all for $11.95! I am so excited to get to try these! No date has actually been announced, but we were told we would see them by the end of the first quarter of 2014! I am also excited that these are in production in the U.S.! It makes me happy that Stampin' Up! is suporting jobs in the U.S.!

2. We are also getting a Memento black inkpad, which is compatible with the alcohol-based markers!

3. Photopolymer stamps are becoming part of the Annual Catalog in June 2014!

4. Photopolymer stamps will soon be manufactured at the Stampin' Up! stamp manufacturing plant in Kanab, Utah!

5. We will soon have a line of PERSONALIZED photopolymers! Yay!

Well, it 's getting late and we have a full day of Leadership Activities tomorrow!

Feeling Better!

Feeling Better!

I'm feeling better today-fever's gone and my sweet hubby made me some yummy scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning! I haven't stamped anything yet, but have been doing alot of fun blog-surfing and getting a bunch of great ideas to work on for future workshops and classes!

I did go through more of my Leadership pics and found a few samples using the Build a Cupcake Punch & the Create a Cupcake Stampset I really like:

To Love What We Do . . .

To Love What We Do . . .

I just returned home from the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference a few days ago, and all I can say is WOW! Stampin' Up! did an awesome job of inspiring, motivating, and giving us lots of great ideas (and product!) to use in our businesses. At every event there is a "swap-drop box" for attendees to put one of their swaps in for the Stampin' Up! Home Office. When I go by it I usually take a peek to see what's in there, and this is what I found:

Blog card
©Stampin'Up!™1999-2011

This is the Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart. It exemplifies exactly how I feel about my Stampin' Up! business and the relationships I have made because of it!

Here's another cutie from the same box:

C is for cat
©Stampin'Up!™1999-2011  I love the slightly "off kilter" look of this card, sort of like the harum-scarum way kitties do things!

Lastly, here's an elegant valentine I found in the box:

I LOVE the new "Framed Tulips" Textured Impressions Folder used on here! It's my favorite right now!

Here's a few pics from my adventures at Leadership! From left to right: Meg, Brenda, me, and Cynthia!

Blog post

Brenda is a sideline (we ultimately had the same upline!), but the other two I met on the Stampin' Up! cruises as a result of my friendship with Brenda. I have grown incredibly close to these girls through the years. Although we don't see each other much during the year, just on cruise, convention, and Leadership, but each time it's as if we've never been apart! Thank you, Stampin' Up! for bringing these sisters into my life!

As you can see we aren't always calm and proper!

Shopping at Memento Mall is always a "must do" at Stampin' Up! events. Memento Mall features exclusive logo merchandise we can purchase to help us promote our Stampin' Up! business:

My "nose ring" is actually one of our Basic Jewel Rhinestones, which are adhesive enough to stick on your nose! Fun!

Throughout the event, Stampin' Up! gives away free product with their "Prize Patrol"!
