Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day October 4th!

Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Time!

Hey there! Today is the first of October, and Stampin' Up! has a brand new promotion for us, 15% off a selection of their best Designer Series Papers! My project today features Tis the Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, which is one of the prints on the 15% off list! yay!

I combined Tis the Season with the Sweetest Time Bundle to create this:

The Sweetest Time stamps and Sweetest Borders Dies are a lovely addition to my holiday crafting stash! I used Mint Macaron for my card base and Shaded Spruce, Whisper white, Gold Foil, and Cherry Cobbler ink for a very traditional and festive look!

After I stamped the candles with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White, I easily hand-cut them with Paper Snips and then found my candle flames in another one of the dies, the candy cane!

A few of the cut-outs from the candy cane die made perfect flames, which I added with tiny dots of liquid glue!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Citrus Part 2!

Hey there! As promised, today I'm sharing the rest of the cards I created with the Simply Citrus All-Inclusive Kit! This kit is one of the best that Stampin' Up! has ever put together, and that's saying a lot because their kits are always so well-planned they make the paper crafting experience fun and the finished projects are amazing!

The card bases are pre-printed with designer paper-looking designs, and the focal image layers are soooo cute! I paired this lemon-y one with the pre-made label, then stamped the greeting from the kit and added the lemon and tiny flowers to it!

The vellum flowers are so adorable. I added them with a glue dot and then finished the center with a Bumblebee In Color Enamel Dot!

Hey there! I played with the Simply Citrus All-Inclusive Card Kit, and WOW, it has everything to make 15 super-cute cards in a snap!

The kit includes card bases, matching envelopes, and pre-printed focal images, like this:

I stamped on this kit label with Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and Night of Navy. The kit includes a Night of Navy 1" square Stampin' Spot. The Calypso Coral Baker's Twine is included.

I added a Bumblebee In Color Enamel Dot to the center of this tiny vellum kit flower!

I used two Many Mates sentiments inside. I added Mango Melody card stock and Whisper White layers, but you can stamp directly on the inside of the card if you prefer.

I love this tiny citrus background layer!

"Just a Note" is from the Simply Citrus stamp set!

I used Playful Alphabet dies to create the "15!"

Stampin’ Up! Word Wishes Split Circle!

Hey there! Today is my first baby's birthday, and I am getting to spend a few hours with her! Today we have pedi's scheduled, eating (her choice, of course) and then to Hobby Lobby. A perfect day!

Today I'm sharing the card I created for her with the "split circle" technique. She is a "cheetah print" girl, so I used a Basic Black, Soft Suede, Bumblebee, and Gold Foil color scheme:

The Split Circle technique is so easy and fun! I used Layering Circles Dies to cut a Soft Suede and Gold small circles, a Bumblebee medium circle, and a Soft Suede and Gold large circles. The circles are then cut in half and layered on to each other with liquid glue to create the "swirl" effect. You will have a few half circles leftover, but you can use them for another card. I cut the "Happy Day" with Word Wishes dies, layering the Bumblebee words on top of Basic Black ones with liquid glue. I used a Well Written die for the exclamation point.

Inside I used a sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays:

Stampin’ Up! Simply Wonderful Butterflies!

Hey there. Today we have mountains of snow on top of ice, schools are closed, and it's cold! Seems like winter saved all of it's wintery-ness until almost spring!

Today's inspiration combines Gorgeous Grunge with the Simply Wonderful SAB set:

I layered the 1 3/8" circle "to a great FRIEND" onto a 1 3/4" vellum scallop circle, then onto a Coastal Cabana butterfly cut with the Butterflies Thinlets Dies. The tiny Coastal Cabana-stamped butterflies are a stamp from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set. I added a bit of sparkle with sequins pulled from the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim and adhered with glue dots.

Inside is another sentiment from Simply Wonderful. You can only get this set with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration, which ends on March 31st, so you need to hurry!
