Hey there! Today is my first baby's birthday, and I am getting to spend a few hours with her! Today we have pedi's scheduled, eating (her choice, of course) and then to Hobby Lobby. A perfect day!
Today I'm sharing the card I created for her with the "split circle" technique. She is a "cheetah print" girl, so I used a Basic Black, Soft Suede, Bumblebee, and Gold Foil color scheme:
The Split Circle technique is so easy and fun! I used Layering Circles Dies to cut a Soft Suede and Gold small circles, a Bumblebee medium circle, and a Soft Suede and Gold large circles. The circles are then cut in half and layered on to each other with liquid glue to create the "swirl" effect. You will have a few half circles leftover, but you can use them for another card. I cut the "Happy Day" with Word Wishes dies, layering the Bumblebee words on top of Basic Black ones with liquid glue. I used a Well Written die for the exclamation point.
