Stampin’ Up! Home To Roost!

Hey there! Today's card is another one I made with the Home To Roost Sale-a-bration set and a collection of other great stamps and accessories!

After coloring the rooster with Stampin' Blends Markers (see the supply list below to find the colors I used), I added shimmer to the feathers with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

I cut the "happy" with a Well Written Framelit Die from Soft Suede, then adhered with liquid glue. To create the barn look background, I stamped Poppy Parade first with the Crackle Paint Background, then embossed with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic folder. I finished by sponging the raised planks with Crumb Cake ink.

Inside I used sentiments from Well Said.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday, Sale-a-bration Swaps!

Hey there and welcome to Sunday Swap Day on Monday! Today I want to share with you a collection of swaps that were all created with freebies from the Sale-a-bration brochure!

First, Rhonda Morgan used the very first stamp set from the Sale-a-bration brochure, Hello Cupcake, to create her swap!

Rhonda added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the frosting!

And she punched the greeting with the Pretty Label Punch and added Glitter Enamel Dots and some Silver Mini Sequin Trim for extra sparkle!

Next, Lorraine Duran used Home to Roost with Share What You Love Designer Series Paper:

My friend Laura Barto combined the Part of My Store Sale-a-bration set with the Meant to Be bundle:

She also used a strip of Sale-a-bration Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper!

Finally, Audra Moncur used the wildly popular So Hoppy Together Sale-a-bration set with Stitched Rectangle Framelits and the Dot to Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Paring Basic Black with Granny Apple Green really makes this card POP!

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop January 2019 Let’s Sale-a-brate!

I used Sale-a-bration Home to Roost and four colors for a single-layer card:

I started by dragging my opened Sahara Sand inkpad across the bottom of a Very Vanilla Note Card. This technique is called "direct-to-paper". I then dragged Crushed Curry and then Cajun Craze, letting it look uneven and rustic.

I added the rooster, tall grass, and sentiment with Early Espresso ink, then flicked the edges of the card against the inkpad to "sponge" the edges.

I kept the inside super-simple by stamping-off the ink once before stamping the grass, and then stamping the sentiment with full-strength ink.
