Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Sweet Soiree!

Hey there! Last night Typepad was down so I was unable to create my post and this morning church. Just now at almost 3 p.m. things have started calming down so I can start typing this post.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Final Two Cards!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing two more cards we're making at the Petal Palette Stamp Class tomorrow. These cards are from the monthly swap with the theme of Occasions Catalog and fun folds. I fell in love with both of these cards!

This card by Karen Kurz is a z-fold turned portrait instead of the usual landscape:

The blooms are colored with Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie and Light & Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends. The bird is colored with Light & Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. All, including the Old Olive "trellis", are cut with Petals & More Thinlets.

The center panel is actually Petal Passion DSP colored with Stampin' Blends.

Janace Charbonneau created the "bluebird" Petal Palette card. She used a Petal Passion DSP print with her "gatefold" fun fold.

Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop February Edition Sweet Soiree!

Hey there! Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop for February with the Sweet Soiree Suite!

I used the "slider pop-up" fun fold and Chocolate Chip and Blushing Bride.

Sweet Cake Framelits Dies (bundled with Cake Soiree stamps, saving 10%) cut out the cake, pedestal, pedestal fringe, and topper. The Blushing Bride background is stamped with Playful Backgrounds.

I colored the "frosting" with Watercolor Pencils, adding a layer of white pencil first before coloring with Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral. I punched "for you" with a 3/4" Circle Punch.

This card is a Pop-up Slider!

Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop February Edition Sweet Soiree!

Hey there! Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop for February with the Sweet Soiree Suite!

I used the "slider pop-up" fun fold and Chocolate Chip and Blushing Bride.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Petal Palette February 11!

Hey there! It's time to share some swaps! Yay!

My friend Mary Ellen Stites added a Pool Party watercolor wash to the Petal Passion Designer Series paper background to complement the little bluebird from Petal Palette:

Angela Waters used classic black-and-white for her clean-and-simple card.

I stamped this card at the OnStage make-n-takes in Salt Lake City last November; coloring select flowers with a Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Marker.

BJ Peters, colored pearls with her Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Marker to accent her card.

Jessica Brigden sponged Pear Pizzazz ink on the Petal Passion Designer paper, as well as on the rose leaves. She sponged Sweet Sugarplum on the roses, then added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella for some shine!

Finally, Georgia Giguere used classic Basic Black, Whisper White, and Daffodil Delight for her cheery card:

Stampin’ Up! Magical Day for Cohen!

Hey there! We celebrated my oldest grandson's 10th birthday, so I'm sharing the castle card I made with the Myths & Magic Suite:

I found castle box directions on a Facebook group for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from Barbara Smith.

I hand-cut the little knight from the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Paper.

After stamping the dragon on a glittered piece of Myths & Magic paper, I hand-cut it out too. I forgot there was a framelit for him! lol!

Layering Oval Framelits to cut out sentiments and the castle door. Brick Wall Textured Impressions for the castle walls.

I borrowed "happy birthday" from Party Pandas.

This card will fold flat to fit in an envelope, but it is rather bulky. I attached to Cohen's present with stampin' dimensionals.

Barbara's directions. Right click to save to your compute. Enlarge as needed. I did NOT print on card stock.
