Stampin’ Up! Layered With Kindness!

Posted on March 7, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! Today at church our Ladies Friendship Circle is hosting a free day for girls, 2nd grade through high school, to learn crafts. The girls can choose from cooking/baking, sewing, jewelry-making, needlepoint, scrap booking, stamping, wreath-making, nail-painting, and a few more! I'm teaching stamping, of course, and will share my project here next week.

For my creation today I combined Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper with Layered with Kindness stamps and Label Me Lovely Punch:

This print from the Peaceful Poppies Designer you can let the paper do most of the work! Every time I've shared this card with my stampers their first reaction is "wait, do we have to stamp and watercolor those poppies?" They can't believe it's only paper!

I love this label, stamped in Tuxedo Black and punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch! I added a Noble Peacock Rhinestone and wrapped a piece of 1/4" White Crinkled Seam Binding and the card front was done!

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Peaceful Moments and a poppy from Painted Poppies.

Here’s a free PDF tutorial for you!

Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee!

Posted on March 5, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! Just before I started this post I discovered the Golden Honey Specialty Paper, a Sale-a-bration $50 freebie choice, is sold out, so I recreated it with NEW Sale-a-bration Flowering Foils Specialty so you can still make it!

The original with sold-out Golden Honey Specialty, Honey Bee stamps, and Label Me Lovely punch!

Stamped the sentiment and the bee before punching with Label Me Lovely.

Punched a Gold Foil label, then cut in half to layer behind the punched greeting.

Mounted the labels with dimensionals over the card stock "ribbons" and added a Gold Faceted Gem.

Inside and the envelope flap covered with Golden Honey paper.

A few bees added to the envelope front!

My CASE of the original card, with currently available supplies, the Flowering Foils Specialty Paper! You can choose this paper as your gift with a $50 order!

Here’s the pdf tutorial for you! I've added the new card, supplies, and modified instructions!

Stampin’ Up! Band Together for Faith!

Posted on February 17, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! Yesterday was my daughter-in-law, Faith's, 24th birthday! I waited until after her special day to post the card I made for her with the Band Together Bundle. I used Seaside Spray and Whisper White to create with some Shimmery White heat embossing for a light and airy look.

I used a double-gate fold and the Detailed Bands dies along with Seaside Spray gingham print from the 2019-2021 6" x 6" Designer Paper pack for a card that looks very "French provincial". I heat embossed the greeting on Seaside Spray with Shimmer White embossing powder, then cut with a Layering Ovals die.

The Seaside Spray oval is just barely large enough to glue over the frame of this band, so I added more glue to the center and then adhered another oval the same size to the back to secure.

The inside sentiment and the flower are both from Band Together, stamped with Seaside Spray ink.

NOTE: the Seaside Spray card base size is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 2 1/8" from each end.

Supplies to order:

Band Together Bundle	Band Together Cling Stamp Set	Detailed Bands Dies
Seaside Spray 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock	Seaside Spray Classic Stampin’ Pad	Versamark Pad
Embossing Buddy	Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder	Heat Tool (Us And Canada)
2019–2021 In Color 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 Cm) Designer Series Paper	Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock	Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Layering Ovals Dies	Snail Adhesive

Posted on February 13, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! My 11th grandbaby, Fiona Everly, arrived on 2/3/2020! My daughter had complications after her c-section requiring more surgery; it was scary, but God is good! Kimberly and Fiona are doing well now, and I'm staying with them for a couple of weeks.

"Celebrate" from Happy Birthday to You, cut with an Ornate Frames die.

I gold heat embossed "Happy Birthday", stamping "TO YOU" and the corner cake with Highland Heather.

Today's supplies:

Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Little Ladybug!

Posted on January 13, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! With granddaughter #6 due to arrive on February 3rd, I'm on a mission to get as much accomplished before that date as I can! You'll find me posting here a few times a week so I can concentrate on prepping for my upcoming stamping events this month and the next!

Today I have a "thinking of you" card that could double as a Valentine, created with the Host-Exclusive Sale-a-bration set, Little Ladybug! This set is only available to hosts that have an order or party sales of at least $300. You can't get this set any other way!

I combined Little Ladybug images with From My Heart Specialty paper, Heart Punch Pack, and Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder:

From My Heart Specialty paper is a mix of Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Whisper White, along with foil accents! I colored the ladybug with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends.

After stamping and punching the greeting, I added a few Peaceful Poppies sequins with liquid glue, placing them carefully with my Take Your Pick tool.

The inside sentiment and the row of playful ladybugs are both included in the Little Ladybug set.

To order click the picture links:

Little Ladybug Host Cling Stamp Set (English)	From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper	Heart Punch Pack
Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder	Peaceful Poppies Sequins	Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad	Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack	Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad
