Stampin’ Up! Santa’s List!

Stampin’ Up! Santa’s List!

Hey there! I managed to get my swap in the mail before the deadline to mail Priority, then spent the rest of the stamping day working on the projects to mail out to the Online Ordering customers who placed orders to choose Christmas Catch-Up projects. I'm almost done, which is a good thing, considering I still have a bit more shopping, wrapping, cleaning, and decorating to do before my family starts arriving next week! Whew! It's going to be close, but I have a list, so I'm chipping  away on it every day!

I thought about saving these swaps for this coming Sunday, but since we are just barely a week away from Christmas Day, I decided I'd better go ahead and share these with you. These all were created using the Santa's List set in the Holiday Catalog:

Kathy Morgan used a Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp for ther "do not open .. " greeting on the front.

Next, Linda Pagel chose to make her gift card holder an easel card:

And last, Lorraine Duran used a Window Frame Framelit and a Very Merry Tags stamp along with Santa's list for her creation:

The pocket for the giftcard opens up matchbook-style:

Stampin’Up! Envelope Punch Board Gift Card Holders!

Stampin’Up! Envelope Punch Board Gift Card Holders!

Hey there! I have a couple more Gift Card Holders to share with you today. These are for the Ina Craft Fair Saturday, so I used some of my stash of  retired cardstock and designer paper.

Stampin_up_snow_day_gift_card_holder_1

This little cute guy is punched with the 2 1/2", 1 3/4", and 1 1/4" Circle Punches. His face and arms are stamped with Snow Day stamp set stamps. I created the belly band from and stamped the "warm wishes" on retired designer paper, and the gift card base with retired Confetti White cardstock.

On the back flap I stamped and punched out an image from the Very Merry Tags stamp set with the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I haven't stamped directly on designer paper very much, but I really like the look!

Inside the flap I stamped the "to: from:", also from Very Merry Tags. The entire gift card holder was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder.

I also created this simple Santa gift card holder with the Envelope Punch Board. I used Real Red 12"x12" Core'dinations cardstock because it is a great deal right now on the Clearance Rack. I accented the Basic Black bellyband with a Silver Glimmer faux "buckle" created by punching with the Petite Curly Label Punch first, then punching the Curly Label Punch around the negative space left from the first punch. The "HO HO HO" is from the Naughty & Nice This & That Rotary Stamp in the Holiday Catalog, punched with the Word Window punch.

Inside the flap I used the same "to: from:" from the Very Merry Tags set, stamped in Jet Black StazOn.

The dimensions for these giftcard holders are 6" x 6". To get the elongated shape, I started by putting a corner of the square at 3"on the Envelope Punch Board, punching, then scoring with the scoring tool included with the board. I turned the square a quarter turn, then put the new corner at 2 5/8", punching, then scoring. I turned the square a quarter turn again, then put the third corner at 3" again, punching, and then scoring. I turned the square a quarter turn one last time, put the fourth corner at 2 5/8" again, punched, and scored. I then snipped out the excess slivers of cardstock from along the sides of the flaps (once you have punched & scored with the Envelope Punch Board you will know what I am referring to)

The pocket for the gift card is secured with Glue Dots on the 3 closed flaps, leaving one flap un-glue-dotted to serve as the opening flap.

The dimensions for the bellyband is 1" x 8 1/2". I wrapped the strip of paper around the pocket, then secured it to itself with Glue Dots.

The snowman & the belt buckle are adhered to the bellybands with Stampin' Dimensionals.

While I am at it, let me give you the dimensions for cutting and scoring the Envelope Punch Board Treat Pocket I showed you HERE

Winter Frost Designer Paper is 4" x 4' square, scored and punched with all four corners at 1 3/4".

That's all for now! You can order all of the supplies to make today's projects (with the exception of the retired cardstock and designer paper) from my Online Store:
