Stampin’Up! Fan Fair Birthday!

Good Morning! My classes start this afternoon at 1 p.m., so I just have enough time to share on of my creations for "CampJustWannaStamp"! I used Riding Hood Red cardstock (which is retiring, so if you need some you'd better place your order this weekend while we have FREE SHIPPING, because when the supply is gone it will be gone forever!) I also used Curly Cute and Collage Curios stamps, and Fan Fair Designer Paper:

A quick and easy card that you could even make masculine if you leave off the Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding bow!

The banner strips on the front were pretty simple, just 3/4" x 5" strips of designer paper that I snipped up the center of each one with my Paper Snips, then cut in from each corner to the center to create the banner ends. Since they all started out the same length I layered them like this with SNAIL on the front:

Then flipped the card over and trimmed the paper strips above the top of the card even with my Paper Snips:

Stampin’ Up! Feeling Sentimental One More Time!

Good Morning! Wow, what a LOT of rain we've had these past couple of days! Yesterday morning started with a light dusting of snow on top of rain puddles, followed by more rain throughout the day! We are practically SWIMMING here!

My SIL and family returned home safely in the afternoon, and Logan returned to Rolla safely as well, so all is right in my world!

Here's one final card using Feeling Sentimental, one of the Sale-a-bration sets about to be retired this coming Friday night!

I can't let you go today without sharing an update on my little grandson, Liam! Liam is rolling, rolling, rolling all around the living room these days! My oldest son, Troy, was a roller, too, so Liam is bringing back fond memories for me! Liam tends to take a toy with him as he rolls, sometimes he even takes a wooden yardstick with him (I will definitely have to get a picture of that!)

I swear I didn't do a thing to stage this photo.This is all Liam! LOVE getting to spend a couple of days each week with him! I consider my self so blessed to be his grammie!

Stampin’ Up! Vintage Verses! Fabulous & Free!

Good morning! Now that I have started going through my swap & display pictures from Leadership I'm finding some treasures!

Today I want to show you three display samples using the free with a $50 order set from the Sale-a-bration catalog, Vintage Verses!

This first one uses the Daffodil Delight Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper and the Label Framelits to create a "sun-ray" effect! Love it! How cool would it be to pair this design with the new single stamp, "Sunshine"?

This sample uses Daffodil Delight cardstock again, with Petite Curly Label (also free with a $50 order) punches to create the background interest. The greeting is cut out with a Window Frames Framelit, and the creator added a torn strip of Essentials Designer Fabric for even more texture!

Last but not least, a little touch of vintage whimsy to complement Vintage Verses! This card has Fan Fair Designer Paper , Victoria Crochet Trim, Very Vanilla 1/2' Seam Binding, Antique Brads, and a currently-retired-from the Holiday Catalog Designer Frame. I hope the Designer Frames return in the new catalog in June. I really wasn't done creating with them!

Well, that's all for now! We are off today to the Oral Surgeon for Ben, my youngest son, to have two EXTRA TEETH removed! How about that? One on the top left and one on the bottom right. We've know about them since 2010, but they just now are starting to make their presence "felt" to out they are coming today! Ben had his wisdom teeth removed in 2010 and was a champ through the whole thing, so we are anticipating a repeat outcome. We should be back home by noon!
