Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Meadow Once Again!

Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Meadow Once Again!

Good Morning! How's your weekend going? I "think" I may actually be starting to feel better! It's about time, right? I consulted with my pharmacist tonight at Kroger and he suggested I switch my daily allergy medication to another brand. I had heard, and he confirmed, that our bodies get used to using one kind all the time and it stops working, so every couple of years or so we need to change to another brand! Amazing! I had never heard of that until this year, but I think that may have been the root of my sick-i-ness!!!!!

We had fun at "SWOW" class yesterday with our three projects. I haven't shown you the third one yet, but don't worry, I will!

Today, though, I returned again to a few more of my monthly swaps using Wildflower Meadow again! I just LOVE this stamp set – it has it all – beautiful graphics, it's own built-in polka-dot background, and a matching Textured Impressions Folder! Yikes!

Denise Sullivan created this beauty with a Crisp Cantaloupe card base & ink, with accents of Crumb Cake!

What I really love about this card, besides the "best wishes" banner from Express Yourself and In-Color Crisp Cantaloupe Designer Paper, is her use of the Flower Fusion Sizzlet to create the adorable coordinating blossom embellishment! ALL THREE layers of flower can be cut at the same time with this die! Easy-Peasy!

Katy Simecka created this fun card with the same Wildflower Meadow stamp, Gingham Garden Designer Paper, circle punches, Label Love stamp and Artisan Label punch. It's a little hard to see in the picture, but she finished off each circle with a layer of Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheet and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. It gives this set a whole NEW look, doesn't it?

One of the major things that I LOVE about Stampin' Up! is the way so many different people can start out with the same stamps, but by using additional products and different techniques, can end up with such VERY DIFFERENT BUT GORGEOUS results! It never gets boring, that's for sure!

Well, I need to get off here and get my workshops for next week prepped! I have a lot to do – I have four workshops in five days booked! Yikes!

Until tomorrow, hope your day Stampingrox!

Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Maddness!!

Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Maddness!!

Good morning! Trying to get my post up earlier today so the email you get (although it will probably be either the second one or two posts combined in one email, I'm not sure how this will go!) will be on time today!

I'm in the middle of super-organizing my stamping stuff after the big BOGO sale last Saturday. My two new catalog orders I placed over the weekend haven't even shipped yet, (due to the huge backlog of orders placed over the the weekend, I'm sure) but I'm determined to have all of my current stuff organized before these orders arrive!

I have done a teeny-little bit of stamping, but the project is not yet finished. I promise I will share with you as soon as I get it done, it's going to be pretty cute!

So today I'm relying on my monthly swaps again, this time with a few samples from Mosaic Madness!

Modern mosaic ruth bingle
Ruth Bingle went out-of-the-box by turning the Mosaic-punched pieces into a flower! (think this might make a great poinsettia for Christmas!) There's one of those Very Vintage Buttons again! The "feel better soon" is from the new set, Express Yourself, and she also used the Modern Mosaic Textured Impresssions Folder for the background (brayered with Strawberry Slush ink on the "positive side" (the side with the impressions raised up!) of the folder before placing the Whisper White paper inside!

Mosaic madness susy miller
Susy Miller went with a color pallette of Early Espresso, Naturals Ivory, Soft Suede, and Coastal Cabana for her card using both Mosaic Maddness and Label Love stamp sets! She also used a Neutrals Button and Natural 7/16" Ribbon Trim for the finishing touches! This could easily be a masculine card!

Well, it's back to the organizing grindstone for me today! (I actually enjoy cleaning out and organizing when I have enough time to do it properly!) My cough continues to improve a little each day, very little wheezing now, but the steroids are keeping me awake at night! When I get through all the meds I'll probably want to sleep for about 24 hours straight!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! “Golden Ticket” Day!

Stampin’ Up! “Golden Ticket” Day!

Good morning! The cool thing about today, and the MAJOR difference between this day and the Golden Tickets in the Willy Wonka movie is that EVERYONE can participate, you don't have to just wish you would find a ticket!

Starting today at Noon, Mountain Time, you will be able to order from BOTH the retiring and the NEW catalogs AND the Occasions seasonal catalog! Yippee!!!!!!

While we are "patiently" waiting for noon, here's a few more pics from the virtual swap on Facebook, this time with a fabulous new Hostess Set, Simply Sketched:

Simply Sketched 1
Crisp Cantaloupe is the perfect base color for this card. The Jet Black StazOn stamped greeting is from another superb new Hostess Set, Express Yourself!

Definition of Hostess Set: a stamp set you can only purchase when you are a hostess with at least $150 in sales for you party or personal order. Only hostesses are allowed to purchase these exclusive sets with the Hostess Dollars awarded to them when their party is closed and submitted.

How can you be a Hostess? Book a party, stamp camp, or private class with me! Or go to my Online Store through the "Shop Now" button in the upper left corner of this blog to place an order of at least $150.

Live out of state or out of my area? NO PROBLEM! I can ship you a "party in a box" for however many guests you plan to assemble. Contact me, and after we confer about the type of projects you want to make, I will send you all the supplies needed to complete the projects, with instructions. If you have Skype, I can even Skype into your get-together to demonstrate for you and take orders!
