Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Tea Together!

Hey there! For Sunday Swap Day I'm sharing a couple of outstanding cards created with Tea Together stamps and Tea Time Framelits (choose as your freebie when you spend $100)

First, Kathy Johnson created an easel card with Grapefruit Grove, Whisper White, and Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Paper:

This card is a modified easel:

Tea Time framelits cut out the teapot, cup, buds and bloom! Kathy colored with Stampin' Blends markers to get the shading.

Simply gorgeous!

She used an Incredible Like You sentiment and a Time for Tea greeting for the easel "stop".

Rhonda Bassler paired Grapefruit Grove with Balmy Blue and Whisper White, punching out the greeting from Part of My Story (SAB), with the Pretty Label Punch.

Rhonda also expertly colored the china and blooms with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers.

The easel "stop" for this card was simply created by securing strip of card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Tails for Cohen!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you the card I created for Cohen's birthday party last night! I've been wanting to use my Happy Tails Bundle, and his birthday was the perfect time to ink it up!

Cohen is turning 11, so I wanted his card to have a young but also a masculine look. I used Soft Suede, Real Red, and Happiness Blooms Designer paper from the Occasions Catalog.

I stamped Soft Suede card stock with Soft Suede ink, then punched out the dog. I tied the balloon string to his tail with Night Of Navy Medium Baker's Twine. The heart was punched from Real Red with the Dog Builder Punch.

I added some shine to the balloon with a White Stampin' Chalk Marker.

I adhered the die-cut sentiments with a thin line of liquid glue. The easel stop sentiment is also from Happy Tails.

Carol Payne Stamps Vertical Farmhouse Christmas Easel Tutorial!

Hey there! Still playing with the Farmhouse Christmas Bundle, I used Shimmery White as my canvas to create a snowy scene:

FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS EASEL CARD TUTORIAL:

Pool Party base: 4 1/4" x 11", score 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Pool Party easel layer: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"Adhere to 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" base section.
Cherry Cobbler layer 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" – need two. Adhere to Pool Party easel layer and inside.
Stamp house with stamped-off black ink, tree with Crumb Cake, and truck with full-strength black ink on a 4" x 5 1/4" Shimmery White layer.
Stamp house on Post-it Note. Cut with Farmhouse Framelit. Lay over stamped house on Shimmery White layer. Roll Pool Party ink over all with a Sponge Brayer. Remove Post-It Note.

Color house, tree, and pickup with Stampin' Blends listed below.
Emboss with Softly Falling Textured Impressions. Adhere to Cherry Cobbler easel layer.
Stamp wreath on Mossy Meadow scrap with black ink. Cut with Farmhouse Framelit. Adhere to house with glue dot.
Cut tiny bows from Cherry Cobbler with the Farmhouse Framelit. Adhere to wreath and tree with a dot of liquid glue.
Stamp "wishing you a season . . ." with black ink on Crumb Cake. Punch with 2" Circle Punch. Clean stamp.
Stamp same sentiment with Cherry Cobbler on white scrap. Cut out "Merry Christmas" with banner Farmhouse Framelit. Adhere over Crumb Cake circle with dimensionals. Adhere Crumb Cake circle with dimensionals.
Stamp 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" Whisper White layer with "thoughts of happiness . . .", snow, and truck. Adhere inside card.
Stamp "from our home to yours" with Cherry Cobbler on white. Cut with Farmhouse Framelit. Punch Crumb Cake with Classic Label Punch. Adhere sentiment on Crumb Cake classic label. Adhere on inside layer with dimensionals.

FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS EASEL CARD TUTORIAL:

Pool Party base: 4 1/4" x 11", score 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Pool Party easel layer: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"Adhere to 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" base section.
Cherry Cobbler layer 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" – need two. Adhere to Pool Party easel layer and inside.
Stamp house with stamped-off black ink, tree with Crumb Cake, and truck with full-strength black ink on a 4" x 5 1/4" Shimmery White layer.
Stamp house on Post-it Note. Cut with Farmhouse Framelit. Lay over stamped house on Shimmery White layer. Roll Pool Party ink over all with a Sponge Brayer. Remove Post-It Note.

Color house, tree, and pickup with Stampin' Blends listed below.

Carol Payne Stamps Black Cat with Toil & Trouble!

Hey there! When I'm playing with a pack of designer series paper I try to see what I can do with at least half of the prints. The black kitty cat print from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper inspired my card today:

I punched a layer of Basic Black Foil with the Cat Punch so the frolicking kittens would peek through. The black foil layer is very reflective and hard to photograph. If you look at this product in the shopping list you'll see that Stampin' Up! had a hard time taking its' picture too! lol!

I tied a bit of Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon under the Accented Blooms Greeting that I punched with the Tailored Tag Punch after embossing with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. I surprised myself by trying, and succeeding, to heat-emboss Tuxedo Black Memento ink!

I colored the Birthday Wishes For You sentiment with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Pack, then hand-cut the banner. I used the banner as the easel-stop for this card.

I also colored the main birthday greeting with the same Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends!

I covered the envelope flap with the same black kitty print and then added the punched out cat to the front!

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Easel!

Hey there! You knew I would eventually make an easel card with Abstract Impressions, didn't you! I love the easel-fold, and this bundle feels like it was created for it!

I chose Melon Mambo for my card base, stamped on the white layer with Melon Mambo ink, then sponged the flowers and leaves cut with a Springtime Impressions Thinlet. I used new Shaded Spruce, Powder Pink, Melon Mambo, and new Highland Heather.

I added black faceted gems for some sparkle.

Inside I cut the sentiments with Celebrate You Thinlet Dies, then sponged them with the same colors as the front. The cut sentiments are flexible, so I was able to curve them a bit as I was adhering with liquid glue "painted" with a small brush.

Stampin’ Up! Truly Tailored For the March Class!

Hey there! My March Stamp Class is all with the True Gentleman Suite from pages 44 & 45 of the Occasions Catalog. My card I'm sharing today is created with True Gentlemen Designer Paper and the Truly Tailored Stamp set:

Yes, it's a shirt easel card! The bow tie is created with the Tailored Tag Punch and Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon. The "buttons" are punched from Night of Navy card stock with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.

I punched the greeting with the Classic Label Punch.

I used Tranquil Tide and Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers to ink the easel stop greeting and punched with the Everyday Label Punch.
