Stampin’ Up! Humming Along Again!

Hey there! Today I have the second card I made while I was playing with the Humming Along stamp set and its' companion (and bundled) dies, the Hummingbird Framelits:

Just one of the many things I love about Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers is the way you can create new colors! I layered the feathers with a line of Dark Granny Apple Green, then blended over it with Light Bermuda Bay. Clear Wink of Stella is the perfect final touch!

I love this greeting, also from Humming Along, cut with a Hummingbird Framelit.

Stampin’ Up! Humming Along!

Hey there! The last couple of days of our "stay-cation" here at home I've finally had a chance to do some serious stamping! yay! The first card I want to share is with the Humming Along stamp set with Flirty Flamingo, Basic Black, and Whisper White:

I used the Flirty Flamingo Light & Dark Combo Pack of Stampin' Blends, as well as Daffodil Delight Combo, and Granny Apple Green Combo. After I finished coloring I added Clear Wink of Stella for shine.

I stamped directly on the strip of Flirty Flamingo Designer Paper from the Brights 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack with an image from the Painted Seasons stamp set using Flirty Flamingo ink. I'm really loving this look!

Stampin’ Up! February 2019 Paper Pumpkin Grown With Kindness!

Hey there! The February Paper Pumpkin box arrived today and I pounced on it for a session of quick and easy stamping! February's kit, called "Grown With Kindness", is a set of 9 photo-realistic cards featuring succulents!

I whipped these 9 cards together in about 30 minutes!

The stamp set included in the box has 14 different images, so there are many combinations to try!

The kit included everything I needed to make the cards: adhesive, black and white twine, banners to stamp, pieces to layer, and a Fresh Fig one-inch square Stampin' Spot!

My only addition to my stamping session was a Lemon Lime Twist inkpad to coordinate with some of the succulents!

This is my favorite phrase from this box!

This one is pretty good too:

Here's a tip for tying a bow with twine: put a glue dot where you want the bow to be on your card. After you tie the first step of the bow, press the twine into the glue dot. Finish tying the bow and press the rest of the knot into the glue dot too! The glue dot is like having and extra hand while you tie!

Stampin’ Up! Cats Instead of Teacups!

Hey there! Today I am sharing cards created by my long-time stampers, Donna & Jennifer Ninness. I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over 16 years, and these gals have been stamping with me for probably 12 of those years. The two cards I'm sharing today were the result of "necessity being the mother of invention":

This card had the Tea Together teacup, but I forgot to bring my Stamparatus, which had the teacup mounted on it, so they grabbed the new Nine Lives stamp set from one of their last orders and went to work! Cats instead of teacups! TaDa!

The Cat Punch from the Annual Catalog punches the kitty perfectly! Jennifer's card featured this gray tabby:

Donna's kitty is more of a gray calico. She stamped the Real Red bow from Nine Lives and then cut it out. I'm pretty sure Jennifer added a bow to her kitty after she saw Donna's!

Donna's kitty is more of a gray calico. She stamped the Real Red bow from Nine Lives and then cut it out. I'm pretty sure Jennifer added a bow to her kitty after she saw Donna's!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Cupcake for the Perpetual Birthday Card Box Class!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing another card we'll make on Saturday at my Perpetual Birthday Calendar Box Class!
