Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia #4!

Hey there! Today I have another Good Morning Magnolia card that may, (or may not!) be my last one to share for awhile. For this one I used the Floating Reinker Technique on Shimmery White card stock to color the magnolia bloom:

The "floating reinker" technique is pretty simple! After heat embossing the bloom with white powder on Shimmery White card stock, use an Aquapainter to thoroughly wet the image. Use enough water to make puddles on the image. Put a few drops of the colors you want to use (Petal Pink, Blushing Bride, and Mossy Meadow used here) on a clear acrylic stamping block. Dip the tip of the Aquapainter into each color, then drip the color on the image where you choose. Keep dripping the colors until you have the look you want. You can even blot the wetness away so you can take away some of the color or add deeper hues.

I layered three strips of Magnolia Memory Designer Paper onto a layer of Blushing Bride, then embossed it all with the Layered Leaves folder.

I finished the front with a Good Morning Magnolia greeting punched with the Timeless Label punch and a knot of Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Trim.

Inside is pretty special too!

Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Part 3!

Hey there! Today I have a third card to share with you that I created with the Magnolia Lane Suite. Once I got started, I really went on a roll!

For this card I embossed a Shimmery White layer with the Layered Leaves folder then added the gold-embossed vellum magnolia bloom with dimensionals:

All of the research I've done on magnolia color (you seldom see a magnolia in Southern Illinois, lol!) shows it with color radiating from the center but with the outer edges are more white or cream. After heat embossing the flower on vellum with gold powder, I colored the bloom on the back side with a Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blend. I then removed the color from the edges inward with the Stampin' Blend Color Lifter. You need to clean the tip of the Color Lifter frequently on scrap paper to keep the tip color-free so it can remove more color.

After coloring, I sponged Liquid Glue on the backside of the bloom/leaves, adhered to a layer of Whisper White, then cut with the coordinating Magnolia Memory die.

The Soft Suede-stamped sentiment was punched with the new Timeless Label and I added a bow tied with new Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim.

I stamped the inside sentiment with Soft Suede. I then added a Mossy Meadow leaf that I stamped-off once on scrap paper before stamping below the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Again!

Hey there! I'm back again today with another Good Morning Magnolia creation, combining Good Morning Magnolia with the Lace 3-D Embossing Folder and a new Stitched Nested Labels die, all available in the New Annual catalog on June 4th!

I inked the inside of the Lace embossing folder with Petal Pink ink before I inserted the Whisper White layer to get this delicately colored look!

"Hello", also from Good Morning Magnolia, is heat-embossed on the Mossy Meadow label with white powder. The bloom is actually cut from the Magnolia Lane Designer Paper, but not with scissors!

One of the dies in the Magnolia Memories set cuts out the bloom from the Magnolia Lane Designer Paper perfectly!

I used the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack to create the little embellishment to attach to the bloom stem.

"ENJOY TODAY" is also an image from Good Morning Magnolia, stamped with Mossy Meadow ink. I cut Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow card stock with more Magnolia Memory dies, then adhered to the card with tiny dots of liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia!

Hey there! It's just a little over 2 weeks until the Stampin' Up! New Annual Catalog goes LIVE, so I'm going to start sharing some new creations with products I've been able to pre-order!

I created today's card with the Good Morning Magnolia Suite of products: Good Morning Magnolia stamps and Magnolia Memory dies (bundled), Magnolia Lane Designer Paper, and Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon. This ribbon has already been so popular on the Demonstrator Pre-Order that it is currently on back order until the week of June 24th! Wow! I'm actually not surprised, as this ribbon is so easy to work with, as well as gorgeous!

I made this card for a mail-in swap exchange, so I wanted something quick but beautiful. I decided to heat emboss the image with gold on Basic Black card stock, then used a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the bloom for some shimmer.

The greeting from Good Morning Magnolia was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink, then cut with the new Timeless Label Punch.

The inside sentiment and bloom are also from Good Morning Magnolia.

Sooooo pretty!

I colored the inside bloom with Light and Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blends and a Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend. I couldn't find my Mossy Meadow Blends; they must be in a past project box!

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane for Last Chance First Glance New Catalog & BOGO!

Hey there! An email went out yesterday announcing my "Last Chance First Glance New Catalog Launch and BOGO" with this card included, so I wanted to share it here too!

(This event is open to anyone in Southern Illinois on Friday May 31st 1-8 p.m. at my house!)

I used the new Daisy Lane set from the upcoming 2019/2020 Annual Catalog. This set coordinates with existing Daisy Delight stamps and the Daisy Punch. I'm so excited to have another daisy set!

I also used new Garden Lane Designer Paper, a gorgeous collaboration of Garden Green, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Seafoam, and Whisper White!

After stamping two daisies with Garden Green and punching with the Daisy Punch, I layered together and added vellum leaves with the Leaf Punch. I punched a 1/2" Circle from Garden Green to add to the center, then finished with a Clear Faceted Gem.

"Smile" and the small daisy are also from Daisy Lane, and are punched with the brand-new Timeless Label Punch!

Speaking of punches, there's also a medium daisy image in this set that coordinates with the new Medium Daisy Punch! It, along with the rest of the 19/20 Annual Catalog, will be available to order on June 4th!

I finished off the inside with more Daisy Lane images and sentiments.

In this slightly simpler version you can see that I embossed the Garden Green background layer with the Layered Leaves folder.

I chose to leave out the 1/2" Garden Green circle and the vellum leaves on this one, which does give it a softer, simpler look!
