Hey there! Today I have a third card to share with you that I created with the Magnolia Lane Suite. Once I got started, I really went on a roll!

For this card I embossed a Shimmery White layer with the Layered Leaves folder then added the gold-embossed vellum magnolia bloom with dimensionals:

All of the research I've done on magnolia color (you seldom see a magnolia in Southern Illinois, lol!) shows it with color radiating from the center but with the outer edges are more white or cream. After heat embossing the flower on vellum with gold powder, I colored the bloom on the back side with a Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blend. I then removed the color from the edges inward with the Stampin' Blend Color Lifter. You need to clean the tip of the Color Lifter frequently on scrap paper to keep the tip color-free so it can remove more color.

After coloring, I sponged Liquid Glue on the backside of the bloom/leaves, adhered to a layer of Whisper White, then cut with the coordinating Magnolia Memory die.

The Soft Suede-stamped sentiment was punched with the new Timeless Label and I added a bow tied with new Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim.

I stamped the inside sentiment with Soft Suede. I then added a Mossy Meadow leaf that I stamped-off once on scrap paper before stamping below the sentiment.
