Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day August 18th Seaside Notions!

Hey there! It's Sunday, which means it's time for Sunday Swap Day! yay! Today's swaps were all created with the Seaside Notions Annual Catalog set; some with fun-folds and some with techniques!

First, Rhonda Bassler combined Pool Party with Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso for her fun-fold creation:

She used the Stitched Labels die with the Everyday Label Punch and Petal Pink 5/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon.

Next, Kathy Morgan used the Splatter Technique with Night of Navy and White Craft re-inkers for her multi-layered card.

She achieved the multi-layers with Stitched Shapes dies, Silver Foil, and the Timeless Label Punch.

Seaside Notions is very versatile; it can be masculine or feminine, as well as for the young or the old.

Finally, Janace Charbonneau used the Mirror Image technique with Nobel Peacock Foil paper to create her fun card.

I love how she colored each seahorse differently!

Nice inside treatment!

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop August 2019 Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!

Hey there! It's time for a Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek with the Stampers Dozen Blog Hoppers! yay!

I used the " Be a Difference Maker" set from the back page, Nature's Beauty. Stampin' Up! will donate $3 from every set sold from September 4 – January 2, 2020 to support Mental Health Organizations!

I combined Nature's Beauty with the Woodland Embossing Folder and new Delicata Golden Glitz ink!

I stamped the deer directly on the inside of the folder with Soft Suede ink before inserting the Very vanilla card stock. More detailed directions are available in my downloadable handout you will find near the bottom of my post.

I used a sentiment from the new Gather Together set and cut a couple of Soft Suede branches with a new All-Around Wreath Die.

The inside sentiment is also from Gather Together.

I'm loving this new Delicata ink!

Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing my first creation with Wildly Happy, an adorable bunny baby card!

I stamped the bunnies with second-generation (stamped-off on scrap paper) Crumb Cake so the coloring could look softer. See the supply list and instruction sheet at the end of this post for the colors and technique I used!

It's probably hard to see, but I colored mother and baby with Clear Wink of Stella for some sparkle.

Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy!

Stampin’ Up! New Wonders for Ava!

Hey there! Over the weekend we went to Ava's 14th birthday party, so today I'm sharing the card I created for her with the New Wonders Host set.

Somehow while editing my pics I managed to delete the full card front picture, but I didn't delete the adorable little fairy girl "turning the page"! I colored her hair with a Light Cajun Craze Stampin' Blend to resemble Ava's auburn hair, then fussy-cut the whole piece so the leaves could extend beyond the edge of the fold. I colored the leaves with a Light Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blend to match the Pretty Peacock card front embossed with the Layered Leaves 3-D folder.

I punched the Happy Birthday with the Pretty Label Punch for a cloud effect.

I punched the inside sentiment with the same Pretty Label Punch and then punched a blank one to add our signatures and personal wishes to.

I colored her dress with Light Highland Heather and Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends. You can't really see it in the pics but I added some shimmer to her wings with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

Stampin’ Up! Everything Amazing Gatefold!

Hey there! I've been working on the cards for my fun-fold class next Saturday, and I found inspiration from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog to make this card with Pool Party, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo, and the Everything Amazing Stamp set. This color combo really pops!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the large greeting with Versamark on Grapefruit Grove card stock so I could re-stamp it easily to make sure I had a good impression with the sticky Versamark before sprinkling with white embossing powder and heating with my heat tool. I then stamped the flowers, also from Everything Amazing, with Flirty Flamingo ink before cutting it out with the largest Stitched Nested Label Die. I added rhinestones to the flower centers for some bling.

I used a sentiment from Here's a Card on the inside.

This card was so much fun I made two more with different color combos!
