Stampers Dozen Blog Hop September 2019 Anything BUT a Card!

Hey there! Welcome to the Stampers Dozen September Blog Hop! Our theme is "anything BUT a card". Be prepared to be inspired!

For my project I used the Kraft Pillow Boxes found on page 172 of the Annual Catalog along with Come To Gather Designer Series Paper, Gathered Leaves Dies, Harvest Hellos, and the Apple Builder Punch!

The Kraft Pillow boxes are perfect for Halloween treats! Ten boxes in a pack, they are pre-cut and scored; no adhesive needed!

The pumpkin was cut with the Apple Builder Punch, including the stem and leaf!

Gathered Leaves Dies to cut the Merry Merlot and Copper Foil leaves.

The Jack-o-lantern face is also in Harvest Hellos.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Silvery Shimmer!

Hey there! Yesterday evening my hubby & I took a lovely bike ride, spent some time with Alisa's family, and then went home to bed and slept marvelously! With my age, I've been having difficulty with waking up way too early, so I've been chronically tired for months. This sleep really helped me tons!

My card today features the Silvery Shimmer Delicata ink on Seaside Spray card stock.

I used the Basic Pattern Decorative Mask to sponge the trees. The look is so wintery, I love it!

The deer peeking from the side!

I used a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings set on the greeting banner, cut the end into banner points, then added a rhinestone.

Inside I used images from both Rustic Retreat and Nature's Beauty.

Stampin’ Up! a Trio of Nature’s Beauty!

Hey there! I'm continuing my Nature's Beauty series today with a little Very Vanilla Note Card containing ALL THREE of the animals from the set!

I wanted to use all three, but with the size limitations of the note card being 3 1/2" x 5", I had to figure out a way to fit them all on there!

I started with Cajun Craze floral print from the Come To Gather Designer Paper, then added my images, stamped with Early Espresso on Crumb Cake, then punched with the 1 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch!

After punching I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.

I added a Pumpkin Pie rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. These are found in the Holiday Catalog on page 58 and come in Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, and Shaded Spruce!

I stamped a greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings, then double-punched with the Classic Label Punch to achieve the shortened greeting strip.

I finished the card by wrapping a length of 1/4" Copper Trim and spreading out the fibers after tying the knot. I love how this give the look of a bow without actually tying one!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty for Christmas!

Hey there! I love this Nature's Beauty stamp set soooo much! Today's creation is another one with Nature's Beauty, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper, and Rustic Retreat stamp set. I have a couple more cards to share with this set and then I'll move on to another set, I promise! lol!

I really love how this one turned out!

I stamped the trees from Nature's Beauty with the Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink on Early Espresso, then punched with the 2 1/4" Circle Punch. I adhered Snowflake Sequins, which are new in the 2019 Holiday Catalog, with tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I was able to place the tiny snowflakes and sequins by using my Take Your Pick tool.

I again stamped directly on the wood grain print from the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper pack with a greeting from Rustic Retreat and Cherry Cobbler ink for a sentiment that really popped!

Stampin’ Up! Gingham Nature’s Beauty!

Hey there! I took a little break from blogging to throw together a yard sale with my daughter, Alisa, and my newest daughter-in-law Faith, over the weekend. Working together (sweltering, actually!) in 90 degree heat to set up and and break down is a bonding experience, to say the least! lol! Despite the hard work, I thoroughly enjoyed working side by side with both girls, and after one more trip to the Christian Outreach store to drop off the left over stuff, we'll be done till next spring!

Today's project was again created with the Nature's Beauty stamp set, as well as with Rustic Retreat and Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.

After stamping the deer with Early Espresso and the foliage spray with Pretty Peacock, I dragged the edges of the Whisper White layer on the Pretty Peacock ink pad to get the torn, distressed look.

I used a 1/4" wide strip of Pretty Peacock card stock for a "ribbon". I stamped the greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings with Pretty Peacock ink, then accented with a Noble Peacock Rhinestone.

Inside I used a mix of images and a sentiment from Rustic Retreat.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Birthday!

Hey there! Today's card is another one created with Nature's Beauty and Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. When I started playing with this set and gorgeous DSP the ideas just kept rollin'! Before I knew it I had a lovely set of cards, ready to give as a gift or to use for a class!

This little card is a birthday card with a greeting from Rustic Retreat. I started with a Very Vanilla Note Card & Envelope. These little gems are perfect when you want to make a stack of cards in a hurry!

I stamped the rabbit from Nature's Beauty directly on the Come To Gather print with Early Espresso ink. I love the look of linen or burlap in the print with the tiny polka dots. It looks like you could feel the texture if you touched it!

I accented the greeting banner with a Bird Ballad Trinket.

The inside sentiment is also from Rustic Retreat.
