Stampin’ Up! Blossoming Basket One More Time!

Hey there! Today's card features Blossoming Basket, Springtime Foils Specialty Paper, and sponge daubers!

Copper Foil Sheets and copper embossing!

After embossing with Copper, I used a sponge dauber to apply Powder Pink ink.

Another sponge dauber added Flirty Flamingo to the bloom centers. I colored the foliage with a Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Marker.

I held the Layering Circle die with washi tape, turned it over and to lay on the Big Shot Platform with the cutting edge of the die facing up.

This method of cutting is a GAME CHANGER!!!! I was ruining a couple of sets of Cutting Pads EVERY SINGLE MONTH! After simply turning the cutting edges up before cranking the cutting pads are NOT WARPING!

I copper embossed a Heartfelt Blooms sentiment, then stamping butterflies and the basket with Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo.

Stampin’ Up! Blossoming Basket One More Time!

Stampin’ Up! Eclectic Expressions!

Hey there! Eclectic Expressions is a Level 1 offering included in the Sale-a-bration 2nd Release brochure. I combined it with a Color Challenge on my team Facebook page, the Yes Mam! Stampers.

Here's the Color Challenge colors:

I used the solid circle image to stamp overlapping circles with Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sky, and Sahara Sand on a Very Vanilla layer.

I stamped the Eclectic Expressions greeting on Very Vanilla with Soft Sky. I cut circles with all three sizes of Stitched Shapes Framelits for layers of texture. I added a few random Metallic Sequins with a Fine Tip Glue Pen. I also added a bow tied with Flirty Flamingo 3/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.

Inside I stamped sentiments from another Sale-a-bration Level 1 set, Amazing You.

First, Deb McCahan combined Lots of Lavender with Sunshine Wishes:

Deb used Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Dark & Light Stampin' Blends for her bloom, accenting with a White Stampin' Chalk Marker and adding shimmer with Clear Wink of Stella.

Cathy Miller used Lots of Lavender with Stitched Shapes And Layering Oval Framelits. The Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Folder and pearls are perfect accents. Heartfelt Blooms, another SAB freebie, provides the greeting.

Patty Chenail embossed a Berry Burst with the Petal Burst folder to coordinate with Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon.

Finally, Angie Lisk, a member of my Yes Mam! Stampers team, created this card with Wood Textures Designer Paper and a Delicate White Doily.

She cut out a Wood Words sentiment with a Wood Crate Framelits Die.

Stampin’ Up! Waterfront!

Hey there! I decided to play with Waterfront set a few days ago!

The images have a watercolor look, so I stamped on watercolor paper. Stamping ink on watercolor paper without extra moisture is kind of blah, so I lightly spritzed with water before stamping and the look improved!

I inked the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder with Crumb Cake ink before embossing Crumb Cake card stock for the background. I used Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, and Always Artichoke for the scene, and Early Espresso for the greetings.

I took inspiration from a swap I received from Karen Kurz to cut the easel from Painter's Palette in half to add to the back of the watercolor paper "canvas". I also used the easel fold to complete the easel theme.

I used the Pretty Label and Every Day Label Punches to create the easel "stop".

There are 6 sentiments in the Waterfront set. I used 5 of them on this card!

Stampin’ Up! Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop February 2018!

Hey there and welcome to the February edition of the Stampin' Up! Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop! Our theme this month is Sale-a-bration and Occasions Catalogs, so I'm sure you'll see something to inspire!

I created my project for a stamp class last week with the Hold on to Hope Bundle from the Occasions Catalog!

I used a Whisper White Notecard and Envelope along with Marina Mist, Shimmery White, and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. I adhered a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of the glimmer paper before cutting with the Cross of Hope Framelit Die to make it easy to adhere the cross to the card.

The banner die is included in the Cross of Hope Framelits.

The scripture and garland borders are all included in Hold on to Hope! Love it!
