Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! We've had a super busy Memorial weekend with no time to blog, so today I'm sharing the Sunday Swap Day cards I would have shared yesterday if I'd had time!

I'm going to post these simply and quickly because I just received a call to help my youngest daughter with cleaning her new house!

Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Recessed Panel!

Hey there! My creativity hasn't been at it's best the past few days, but I finally got a chance to play a little bit yesterday with the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and Itty Bitty Greetings from the new Annual Catalog:

Starting with an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" base of Tranquil Tide, I scored and folded at 4 1/4". After embossing a 3" x 5 1/4" piece of Mint Macaron with the Lovely Floral Textured Impressions folder, I cut 1" off one side, then adhered the 2" wide strip at the top of the base and the 1"strip at the bottom with a dimensional in each corner.

I added Artisan Pearls, and a 1" x 5 1/4" strip of Share What You Love Specialty between the popped-up layers with SNAIL to create the recessed panel.

I stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings with Versamark, then heat-embossed with black powder.

I used a sentiment from Detailed with Love for the inside, then added a Love What You Do stem of blooms with Tranquil Tide ink. I stamped-off Rich Razzleberry to color the blooms.

Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Recessed Panel!

I added Artisan Pearls, and a 1" x 5 1/4" strip of Share What You Love Specialty between the popped-up layers with SNAIL to create the recessed panel.

I stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings with Versamark, then heat-embossed with black powder.

I used a sentiment from Detailed with Love for the inside, then added a Love What You Do stem of blooms with Tranquil Tide ink. I stamped-off Rich Razzleberry to color the blooms.

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions!

Hey there! My husband decided to give me new stamps for Mother's Day! One of the sets I chose was Abstract Impressions a set that is also part of a bundle from the New Annual Catalog. A pairing of stamps and Big Shot thinlets, I decided to create a basic card first with the spotlighting technique.

I loved working with Highland Heather on my Accented Blooms card yesterday, so I decided to use it again on this one. I used Mint Macaron where green was needed and added a thin edge of Basic Black for definition.

I cut out the focal image with a Stitched Shapes Framelit and then cut a slightly larger oval with a Layering Oval Framelit. I added pearls to the blooms and adhered a Whisper White Polka-Dot Tulle bow with a blue dot.

This color combo of Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, and Whisper White just screams SPRING!

Stampin’ Up! Accented Blooms!

Hey there! The excitement is building for the New Annual Catalog, which will be "open for business" on June 1st! I've shared with you several new sets and suites, from Share What You Love (Bundles are still for sale through May 31st, and then they will be gone) to Animal Outing. Today I have a card created with Accented Blooms, a lovely set that coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch, a carry-over from the Occasions Catalog!

I'm very excited that Black Embossing Powder is returning to the new catalog, so I used it to emboss the flowers and the sentiment image for my card.

This image is designed with an opening built in to layer the greeting, which I embossed with black powder and punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch. I used a sponge dauber to add So Saffron, Mint Macaron, Powder Pink, Highland Heather, and Flirty Flamingo to the blooms.

I embossed the Highland Heather background layer with the Lovely Floral Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I black heat-embossed an Accented Blooms greeting and repeated the dry embossing with the Lovely Floral folder.

Because the Tailored Tag Punch has already been bundled with the Truly Tailored stamp set in the Occasions Catalog it won't be bundled with Accented Blooms in the New Annual Catalog. However, you can still order the Truly Tailored Bundle through May 31st or while supplies of the stamp set last!

Stampin’ Up! Barn Door Planter!

Hey there! Today we are coming to the end of my series of Barn Door cards. I turned the door into a planter for the roses from Petal Palette!

I embossed the Blackberry Bliss background with the Ruffled Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. After stamping and cutting out the door I turned it on it's side to create the planter.

I colored the Petal Palette rose with Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers, stamped on Very Vanilla, then used a Blender Pen to pull the color over the blooms. I added Clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer. I tied Blackberry Bliss Nature's Twine in a bow and added with a glue dot.

The Petal Palette sentiment fits nicely in the Classic Label Punch.

I breathed on the remaining ink left on the bloom image before stamping on the inside layer to get a lighter look.
