Stampin’ Up! Be Merry Tags!

Stampin’ Up! Be Merry Tags!

Hey there! I had a chance to work on these little tags tonight. They turned out so cute I just had to share:

Stampin_up_be_merry_1
I used the Be Merry Single stamp, which includes the "to: from:", heat embossing them with Early Espresso on Crumb Cake cardstock, White on Basic Black cardstock, and Cherry Cobbler on Crumb Cake.

This stamp is designed to coordinate with one of the Chalk Talk Framelits. After cutting each with the framelit, I then matted them on 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" cardstock layers and snipped the ends into tag corners.

The Chalk Talk Framelits also have three different little shapes to cut the center opening of tags, so I used the largest one to cut the openings. I threaded Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding through the White/Basic Black/Basic Gray tag, Natural 7/16" Trim through the Early Espresso/Crumb Cake/Early Espresso tag, and Victoria Crochet trim through the Cherry Cobbler/Crumb Cake/Early Espresso tag.

That's it! These tags went together very easy peasy! Everyone attending my Christmas Trimmings class on November 18th, 22nd, and 23rd will make a set of these, in addtion to the Santa Gift Card Holder, and the two Festive Flurry Ornaments! Let me know ASAP you are coming!

That's all for now. Thanks for stopping in today to see what I've been up to!

Stampin’Up! Truly Grateful!

Stampin’Up! Truly Grateful!

Good morning and happy Thursday to you! Just one more day until my Holiday Catalog Open House! I still have so much to do! But first today is another Liam day, AND a Jaxon day, yay!

I made today's card for the second swap I am in this month using the Holiday Catalog set, Truly Grateful, and Sweater Weather Designer Paper.

It's a pretty simple, straightforward card, nothing too complicated or fancy, but I like it alot!

Truly grateful 1

Inside I used a phrase from the new Annual Catalog set, Lots of Thanks.

Truly grateful 2

Here's my supply list:

Stamps: Truly Grateful, Lots of Thanks

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Sweater Weather Designer Paper

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry Classic Inkpads

Accessories: Chalk Talk Framelits, Very Vintage Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin'Dimensionals, Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue (to attach the burlap ribbon to the card front. SNAIL doesn't stick to the burlap!)

That's all for now! I'm off to Liam's, then we will be going to Jaxon's while Jessica has a newborn session to shoot! Those two little guys play together really well for a 1-year and an 18-month-old!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Tag It! Christmas Card!

Stampin’ Up! Tag It! Christmas Card!

Good Monday morning to you! I know you are going to find it hard to believe, but there is still NO baby Oakley yet! I can't stand it! But things are looking up! At her appointment last Wednesday, her doctor said if she didn't have him on her own by today they will put her in the hospital tonight and get things started! Whew! Hopefully that means we will have him here before Wednesday!

With that in mind, I'm going to get some posts ready to auto-post so you will have something to see for the next few days (or week) while I am busy being grammie!

Speaking of being grammie, this weekend I had the chance to do just that with Liam. Liam's mommy, Kimberly, came down with the nasty tummy bug I had last weekend, and so I brought him home to stay with me on Saturday through Sunday afternoon. He was here for my "SWOW/Christmas Card" Classes, and charmed everyone, to say the least! Liam has always been my little buddy, I am looking forward to spending more time with him starting in August when his mommy goes back to work teaching school!

Today's card is one of the Christmas cards we made Saturday. This one uses the Tag It! Ronald McDonald House Charity set. I always make sure I purchase and use the set Stampin' Up! creates for this purpose each year because Stampin' Up! donates $3 from the sale of each set to the RMDH Charity. We have friends who lived at the Ronald McDonald House in St Louis when their little girl was born extremely prematurely, so this charity is  near and dear to my heart!

Tag it 7
Did you know the Tea Lace Do
ilies, while the catalog says they are white, are actually an off-white color now? It's true! They are perfect for a homespun-looking card like this one!

Well, that's all for today! I hope to have baby Oakley news for you soon!

Until tomorrow, which I hope is Oakley's birth-day, have a Stampingrox! day!
