Stampin’ Up! Sweetheart Treat Bags and Mosaic Madness!

Stampin’ Up! Sweetheart Treat Bags and Mosaic Madness!

Hey there! I'm a bit nervous about the next few days because Wednesday my husband had the flu and I hate having the flu! Give me a bad cold, sore throat, almost anything else I can handle except throwing up.

While I am still upright and feeling well (I have a workshop Thursday night and a stamp camp on Saturday) I decided to schedule my next few blog posts, so here we go!

I've been stamping up a storm this week. Stamping so much that I almost forgot to show you a couple more of the Shoebox Swaps we made on Sunday:

Stampin_up_love_you_more_sweetheart_treat_bags_1

Angela Henson used the Sweetheart Treat Bags and the Love You More stamp set to create her chocolate-filled card! The Sweetheart Treat Bags (#134610, $4.95 for 12 bags, 12 pre-cut Pool Party Baker's Twine pieces, and 12 die-cut labels) and the Love You More stamp set (#131850 wood-mount $21.95, #131853 clear-mount $16.95) are only available to order through January 27th!) She had us punch Pool Party cardstock with the Small Heart Punch and attach them to the flap and body of the bag with Stampin' Dimensionals before wrapping the Pool Party Baker's Twine around them to close the treat bag.

Stampin_up_love_you_more_sweetheart_treat_bags_2

On the inside, we stamped the birdie from Love You More with Pool Party ink, then added a Small Heart-punched piece of Real Red Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper to his beak!

Stampin_up_mosaic_madness_1

Jan Lacey prepared this beautiful card for us to make. We stamped one of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps all over the Whisper White layer with Soft Sky ink before embossing with the Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder. We also stamped  with the same stamp on the Tea Lace Doily before adding the Pool Party and Island Indigo stamped-and-punched images from Mosaic Maddness.

Stampin_up_million_&_one

Inside we stamped the "Fabulous is what you are" from the Million & One stamp set, then accented it with more stamps from Mosaic Maddness and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel!

Unfortunately, I ran out of time at the Shoebox Swap to finish the rest of the projects, so they will have to wait for another day. =(

That's all for now. Don't forget the Valentine products on the Whole Lot of Love flyer are only available through next Monday, January 27th:

Stampin’ Up! On Film Framelit Dies!

Stampin’ Up! On Film Framelit Dies!

Hey there! I have another "fun-fold" card for you today! This time I used the Peachy Keen stamp set, On Film Framelit Dies, and I Am Me Designer Series Paper.

Stampin_up_peachy_keen_1

I used the smaller "film" die from the On Film Framelits to cut the Basic Gray cardstock frame, then inserted the Real Red-stamped "HELLO FRIEND" inside. I cut the Real Red arrow with another die from the set, then cut and embossed the camera with Silver Foil Paper.

Stampin_up_hip_notes_1

On the flip-side, I stamped the tile-like stamp with Real Red, then stamped "HIP HIP HORRAY"  from Hip Notes with Basic Gray ink, and "happy birthday" from Teeny Tiny Wishes with Real Red ink.

Stampin_up_on_film_framelits_1

Up-close you can see the fine detail from the camera die in the On Film Framelit Dies!

Stampin_up_peachy_keen_2
The Peachy Keen stamp set has a camera stamp, but it doesn't exactly match the die, so I inked the camera die with my Real Red Stampin' Write Marker before cutting the Whisper White cardstock. It transferred the ink nicely, but I decided to go with the Silver Foil camera instead.

That's all for now. My hubby came down with this flu that has been going around, so I prepped for my next two classes like crazy today so I can take time to be sick if I have to! Please keep your fingers crossed that I don't get it!

Stampin’ Up! Starburst Sayings!

Stampin’ Up! Starburst Sayings!

Hey there! I have another fun-fold card for you today using the same fold  and dimensions as yesterday, but this time I used the new Starburst Sayings from the Occasions Catalog to create a fun Birthday card:

Stampin_up_starburst_sayings_1

I love adding a real candle to a birthday card! Although it is not mailable, I made another custom envelope for it with my Envelope Punch Board. I cut out the "oh, HAPPY DAY" and the "celebrate", which are stamped with Bermuda Bay and Raspberry Ripple, with the coordinating Starburst Framelits Dies. I used Circles Framelits Dies that are just slightly larger than the starbursts to cut the layer behind each. I tied Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon around the candle before adding it to the card with 3 Glue Dots. The card base is Bermuda Bay, the designer paper is Birthday Basics, and the images are stamped on Very Vanilla.

I added tiny mounds of Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details to the dots in the middle of the "HAPPY", and even added a bit of the same to the end of the candle! The Dazzling Details do take a bit of time to dry, so I added it to my card last thing so I could allow it to lay flat to dry.

Stampin_up_starburst_sayings_2

A view of the card front opened to reveal all of the Birthday Basics paper used.

Stampin_up_make_a_wish_1

I used another pattern from the Birthday Basic pack, then stamped images from the Make a Wish stamp set, inked with Bermuda Bay and Raspberry Ripple Stampin' Write Markers. I even inked the flames on the stamp with Summer Starfruit!

That's all for now. To order the supplies to create this card, click HERE to go to my Online Store!

Stampin’Up! Language of Love!

Stampin’Up! Language of Love!

Hey there! I had planned to show you more of the swaps from my downline meeting on Sunday, but instead I learned this neat new fun fold today and just couldn't wait to share it with you!

Stampin_up_language_of_love_1

I combined FOUR stamp sets to create this card:

Language of Love #133704 wood-mount $16.95, #133077 clear-mount $12.95

Hearts a Flutter #131922 wood-mount $25.95, #129252 clear-mount $18.95

Countless Sayings 1 Photopolymer #135892 $13.95

Countless Sayings 2 Photopolymer #135893 $13.95

The card base is Baked Brown Sugar. Cardstocks are Whisper White, Real Red, Coastal Cabana.

Designer Series Paper is the Fresh Prints Stack #132996 $6.95

Hearts a Flutter Framelits #130159 $24.95

Bitty Banners Framelits #129267 $14.95

Small Heart Punch #117193 $5.95

Sweetheart Treat Bags #134610 $4.95 for a package of 12

Rhinestones Basic Jewels #119246 $4.95

Stampin_up_language_of_love_2

I attached one of the Sweetheart Treat Bags, folded into thirds, to the middle of the back side of the card to be able to add some candy! Fun!

Isn't this an awesome fold? Here's the dimensions for the card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 2", 3 1/8", 5 3/8", and 6 1/2".

The dimensions for the designer paper layers and the Whisper White center layer are:

Outside fold sections: 1 7/8" x 5 3/8" – you will need two

Inside fold sections: 1" x 5 3/8" -you will need two

Center section: 2 1/8" x 5 3/8" – you will need one

Even without the addtion of the candy this card was a little bit too bulky, so I also made a coordinating envelope for it with Coastal Cabana Designer Paper and my Envelope Punch Board #133774 $19.95.

Stampin_up_language_of_love_3

I used the Coastal Cabana Baker's Twine and one of the pre-cut striped banners from the Sweetheart Treat Bags kit  to tie up the envelope. Really cute and easy!

That's all for now. I've made a couple more cards with this fun fold, but I haven't had a chance to photograph them yet. I'm hoping to get a chance to do that today so I can show at least one of them to you tomorrow!

You can purchase your own supplies to make this card by clicking HERE to shop in my Online Store.
