Hey there! I had a lovely day yesterday with Jessica! We usually take a day to go shopping sometime around her birthday, so we booked the day way back in August so we could make it happen!

Today I'm babysitting Liam and Darcy at their house. I'm making very slow progress on this blog post because we have started potty training Liam. He and I are running to the potty on a 15 minute timer! I brought along the swaps from the Mam's Shoebox Swap  Monday night so I could share a couple of cards with you. Hopefully I will get this post done before bedtime!

Becky Anderson used the Wonderland stamp set and Woodland Textured Impressions Folder for her simple-but elegant swap. The snow flakes were stamped with now-retired Metallic Gold Encore ink, but why not use it if you have it? The snowflakes and the greeting are both included in the Wonderland set, and the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum she used to stamp the greeting on is just the right touch!

Jan Lacey also used the Wonderland set and Woodland Textured Impressions folder for her swap that CASEd a technique and creation by Cynthia Millan:

This is a gorgeous technique I'd been dying to try!

We inked just the birdie from one of the stamps in the Happy Scenes set with a Basic Black marker to stamp on the branch, then colored with a Blender Pend and Real Red ink!

That's all for now! In addition to running Liam to the potty every 15 minutes (which feels like very 5 lol!) I'm on my new laptop and the mouse pad is extremely sensitive, which results in frequently erasing half of what I've typed every few sentences, eek! I've got to get one of my tech-savy sons to see if they can fix that for me!
