Hey there! Today I have a fun pocket card to share with you. One of my stamping friends, Donna, mentioned she would like to make one of these some time soon, so I sat down and created this one in just a very short amount of time!
I started by deciding I wanted to use the Flowering Fields Designer Paper along with the Celebrating You stamp set, all from the Jan/June Mini Catalog. I found a swap I had received a couple of months ago with the pocket card fold, so I had a prototype to go on. I used completely different colors, designer paper, ribbon, sentiments, images, punches (with the exception of the Detailed Trio Punch used to round the corners), and embellishments.
I stamped the greeting from Celebrating You, then punched it three times with the Tailored Tag Punch. The second and third times I used a Post-It Note to hold and guide it into the punch for perfect placement. I used Pool Party Holiday Rhinestones for accent.
The pocket is held together entirely with the Playful Pets red-and-white-stitched ribbon. I punched the Flowering Fields designer paper with the Tailored Tag, folded it in half over the top of the pull-out layer, then pierced two holes to thread the ribbon before tying in a knot. I used a dental floss threader to pull the ribbon through the tiny pierced holes.
I finished off the pull-out layer with another sentiment from Celebrating You, as well as tulips from the Flowering Tulips set.
