Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia from the Mams!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you this gorgeous birthday card some of my Yes Mam! Stampers gave me for my birthday! Martha Swift created it with the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Notecards & Envelopes and the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp set!

Martha colored the bloom and leaves with Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends before cutting with a Magnolia Memory die. You can't see it from the picture, but she added Clear Wink of Stella to the bloom for some subtle sparkle.

A greeting from the Flourishing Phrases set.

A bit of white polka dot tulle ribbon to finish.

The inside sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set, highlighted with a Frosted Flower Embellishment.

Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy Pandas!

Hey there! I had a fabulous birthday weekend! 60 doesn't feel any different than 59; hope I can say that next year! lol!

Today I have the final card from my Wildly Happy stamp set series. This time I used the mama panda and her baby, the Layered Leaves embossing folder, and my favorite easel-fold!

I heat-embossed the pandas and the sentiment with white embossing powder.

I used the Pretty Label Punch to create the easel "stop".

I love this sentiment. I distressed and inked the edges of the label by dragging it directly on the ink pad, then used my finger to dab on more Granny Apple Green ink!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day August 25th Beautiful Flowers!

Hey there! Yesterday I had a lovely birthday stamping, laughing, and sharing with my team, the Yes Mam! Stampers at Vacation Stamping School! A stamper's dream come true! Today's swaps are all about flowers and florals, which you know are right up my alley!

First, a gorgeous sectioned creation using Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Paper and the Floral Essence stamp set, created by Emily Tull. I love the combination of Merry Merlot, Rococo Rose, and Mossy Meadow in the designer paper and in stamping the blooms!

The panels fit together in a unique way!

This Pressed Petals Specialty card was created by Cindy Ewertz. Cindy used the Petal Labels Dies and the I Say Hello stamp set for this beauty, adding a bit of Rococo Rose 1/2" Gathered Ribbon behind the greeting layer.

Tamie Ackerson paired Magnolia Lane Designer Paper with the Inspiring Iris stamp set for her unique fun-fold card. I really love this sentiment: "You are somebody who makes everybody feel like somebody"!

Love it!

Finally, Ruth Bingle also used the Inspiring Iris set to create her thank-you easel card.

Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy Mambos for Ben!

Hey there! Yesterday we celebrated our family's August Birthdays (there are SIX birthdays in August!) with a dinner, gifts, and dessert at our house! My card today was created with the Wildly Happy stamps set for my youngest son, Ben!

You might be wondering about the word "Mambos" in today's blog title. When Ben was a little guy, two to three years old, he fell in love with the Dumbo movie. His word for all elephants was "Mambo"!

When I found the mama & baby elephant image in the Wildly Happy set I KNEW I had to make Ben's birthday card with them! I used one of my favorite fun-folds, the easel!

Aren't they sweet?!

I heat embossed all of the images and sentiments on this card with black Stampin' Emboss Powder.

Then I "fancy cut" (aka as fussy cut!) with my Paper Snips.

I used Stitched Rectangle dies to create the frame and cut the sentiments.

I used two Stitched Rectangles in one pass through the die-cutting machine to create the frame.

Hey there! It's Sunday, which means it's time for Sunday Swap Day! yay! Today's swaps were all created with the Seaside Notions Annual Catalog set; some with fun-folds and some with techniques!

First, Rhonda Bassler combined Pool Party with Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso for her fun-fold creation:

She used the Stitched Labels die with the Everyday Label Punch and Petal Pink 5/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon.

Next, Kathy Morgan used the Splatter Technique with Night of Navy and White Craft re-inkers for her multi-layered card.

She achieved the multi-layers with Stitched Shapes dies, Silver Foil, and the Timeless Label Punch.

Seaside Notions is very versatile; it can be masculine or feminine, as well as for the young or the old.

Finally, Janace Charbonneau used the Mirror Image technique with Nobel Peacock Foil paper to create her fun card.

I love how she colored each seahorse differently!
