Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch Tulips!

Hey there! Up to now I've been creating cards with just snippets and punched-out images from the Pleased As Punch Designer Paper. The card I'm sharing today uses a full card front with the tulips print! How about that?

I tied a bow with white 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon:

I inked the tulip with Flirty Flamingo, stamped-off once, then used the "rock n roll" technique to add an edge of full-strength Flirty Flamingo before stamping and punching with the Tulip Builder Punch. I explain how to do "rock n' roll" in my free downloadable tutorial below!

Inside I used a masking technique to give the look of the leaves being behind the tulips. I show you how to do this too in my tutorial below!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Day!

Hey there! I'm still playing with the Pleased As Punch Designer Paper before it retires at the end of the month! Today I stamped/heat embossed on one of the sheets, punched out the flowers with the Small Bloom Punch, and used the flip side of the same sheet for the background!

I made sure I rubbed my Embossing Buddy over the paper before stamping with Versamark and sprinkling the black embossing powder. I did "fussy-cut" with Paper Snips as there is not die for the butterfly.

I heat embossed the greeting, also from Beautiful Day, directly on the background layer of Pleased As Punch paper.

The little flowers were punched with the Small Bloom Punch, a Sale-a-bration freebie choice! I finished the centers with Rhinestones.

Inside I heat-embossed the other sentiment from Beautiful Day and added another heat-embossed butterfly.

Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella is Pleased As Punch!

Hey there! With Sale-a-bration coming to a close in a little over a week, I got out my Umbrella Builder Punch and Under My Umbrella stamp set to make a card with both sides of one sheet of Pleased as Punch Designer paper to make us smile!

I used the raindrops side of the sheet for the background layered on the Balmy Blue card base, then turned the paper over and punched the umbrella's from the other side! I stamped the handles with an image from Under My Umbrella.

The sentiment is from Under My Umbrella. After I punched it with the Classic Label, I fussy-cut two tiny flowers from the umbrella-side of the Pleased As Punch paper and added them on each end with a tiny dot of glue!

Inside I used a sentiment from So Sentimental, cutting the rectangle around it with a Stitched So Sweetly Die.

Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration is Almost Over!

Hey there! Even with everything that is going on in the world, and I agree being careful is important, it's good that we can still enjoy Sale-a-bration, at least for a few more days (12 days counting today). Today I'm sharing a few swaps created with retiring Sale-a-bration items. If you are wanting any of these, you need to place your order by March 31st!

First, a Lovely Lilypad card by Laura Barto. Laura used Lovely Lilypad, the Lily Pad dies (both Sale-a-bration selections), Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder, and Stitched so Sweetly Dies.

Next, a "Crossover Gatefold" by Wendy Lee. Wendy has a printable tutorial for this card on her blog HERE.

Stephanie Flath went with a non-traditional color combo for her Little Ladybug card, using Balmy Blue and So Saffron! Little Ladybug is a Sale-a-bration Host Exclusive you can only receive when you submit an order or collection of orders totaling $300 before shipping and tax! Get your orders gathered up girls!

Finally, Tamie Ackerson combined Happy Birthday to You, Parisian Flourish 3D folder, and Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer paper, and Stitched Rectangles dies for her swap.
