Stampin’ Up! Farmer’s Market Valentine Bag!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you the final project we will be making at my "Be Mine" Valentine Class next Saturday, a Valentine Bag made with the Farmer's Market Designer Series Paper, Bloomin' Love stamp set, Lots of Labels Framelits, and Chery Cobbler Thick Baker's Twine!

It's hard to see in the picture, but I added Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to the tiny flowers in the greeting!

I found my inspiration, as well as the basic directions to create the bag, on Sam Donald's blog. She is a fabulous UK demo who goes by the name "Pootles"! You can view her creation and a video she made to demonstrate how to make this bag HERE Her version is a birthday bag using the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack and Party Wishes stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Valentine Baker’s Box!

Hey there! Today I have another project for my "Be Mine" Valentine Class next Saturday, a Baker's Box with Love Blossoms Designer Paper!

This box is 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" square x 4 1/2" high, so it could hold a small gift, or A LOT OF CHOCOLATE!

I added the "yum", also cut with a Baker's Box die from Real Red card stock, and tied the box closed with a length of 1/4" Real Red Cotton Ribbon.

The tag layers are also cut with Baker's Box dies, stamped with a phrase from Honeycomb Hello. The Real Red heart is punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

This evening is a Chili Supper and Silent Auction at our church for our Youth Pastor's wife. She was diagnosed with breast cancer last month. Fighting cancer is expensive, even with insurance, so we are raising funds to help with all the extra expenses. We have received many donations for the Silent Auction, and I am donating some sets of cards.

Stampin’ Up! Valentine Baker’s Box!

Stampin’ Up! Something to Say Punch Minion!

Hey there!

Today I have another project for my "Be Mine" Valentine Class next week; an adorable little punch Minion treat holder!

As some of you know, I make Valentines with my school-age grandchildren every year. Maddie Kate & I started this tradition when she was in kindergarten. Alas, she is now a freshman in high school and has decided she doesn't "need" any Valentines. I'm a little sad, but right now I have Ava, Cohen, and Jaxon to make Valentines with, and I have Liam, Oakley, Lando, and Darcy waiting in the wings! lol!

I've found a lot of punch minion ideas on the web, so I took a "little bit of this and that", plus a jumbo google eye I have in my stash, to create my little fella. I used the Mini Treat Bag Die, using only the smaller section of the die to cut two identical pieces to create a narrow little pouch just the right size to slip an flat Airhead candy into!

Stampin’ Up! Honeycomb Hello!

Hey there! I've been finding the Honeycomb Hello set in my drawer for awhile and telling myself I need to create with it. Last night I finally did!

I pulled out everything that was "honeycomb" related: Hexagon Hive Thinlets die, Honeycomb Textured Impressions Folder, and Honeycomb Embellishments from the Occasions Catalog. I used Delightful Dijon and Soft Suede because these colors just say "honey" to me, and the "bee mine" phrase makes a perfect Valentine!

I stamped the "chevron" honeycomb image directly on the Soft Suede cut with the Hexagon Hive Thinlet. I added color to the bee with my Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, and shine to the heart with the Clear Wink of Stella.

I embossed the Delightful Dijon Decorative Label with the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Folder and added a self-adhesive Honeycomb Embellishment. I cut 1 1/4" White Jute Ribbon into a narrow four-thread strand to tie into a rustic bow.

Stampin’ Up! Bloomin’ Love for the Be Mine Class!

Hey there! Today I have one of the four projects we will be making at my "Be Mine" Class on Saturday, February 6th, at my house.

I've recently discovered a new technique called the "drapery fold", and I love it! I can see using this technique often! It highlights both sides of the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper beautifully!

I used Cherry Cobbler for my car base, then added a layer of Whisper White before attaching the designer paper in the drapery fold.

Rhinestones and a bit more DSP (designer series paper) finish off the inside.

After the class I will post a tutorial for this fold, but for now I want you to come to the class to learn how!
