Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow!

Hey there! Quiet Meadow is perfect for collage-style stamping. I used this bundle of stamps and dies to create some "Thinking of You" cards to use for both a "get well" type card and a sympathy.

I used stamped-off once and sometimes twice Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, and Blushing Bride for my collage-stamped background. After heat embossing the greeting with white powder I cut it out with a Meadow die. I added gold Metallic Pearls for more interest.

The majority of the Meadow dies are stand-alone, which means they don't coordinate with an image in the Quiet Meadow stamp set. I used one of them to cut Pear Pizzazz card stock to create the floral piece I glued over the floral image I stamped with full-strength Crumb Cake.

I tied Linen Thread into a double bow and added with a glue dot.

Everything on the inside is also from Quiet Meadow.

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Shaker!

Hey there! Today I have a card all created with products that carried-over from the last catalog to the new! I haven't played with the Jar of Flowers stamp set enough, and hadn't used the Mason Jar Shaker Domes at all, so I combined them with returning In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers!

I used the gold sequins from the Sequins for Everything pack inside the shaker.

I was a little bit confused at first for which way the stems should be stamped inside the jar, but finally realized they go this way! lol! I used stamped-off Pool Party and the Stamparatus to stamp the water with the reverse side of the smaller jar stamp in the set.

Inside I used a sentiment from Poppy Moments.

Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned!

Today I have a simple little card for you created with the Hand-Penned Suite. I used the new In Color Soft Succulent for the card base, then added a layer of Basic White that I embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder. I then added three strips (1 1/4" x 3 3/4") of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.

I punched the sentiment from Hand-Penned Petals with the Double Oval Punch, then used the scalloped oval part of the punch to make the Soft Succulent mat. I added a bow tied with Pale Papaya 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon.

The inside sentiment and image are from another new catalog set, Color & Contour. I stamped the blooms with Blushing Bride ink.

Stampin’ Up! Gilded Art Gallery!

Hey there! I've been playing with the Gold Gilded Leafing Embellishment some, experimenting with other ways to use it. My card today uses it two ways, with the Heat & Stick Powder and with Adhesive Sheets!

After stamping the most solid bloom with Misty Moonlight ink, I then stamped with the 2nd bloom layer using Versamark. After sprinkling with Heat & Stick powder and melting with my Heat Tool, I then pressed it into my container of Gilded Leafing. I then used a stipple brush to brush the excess back into the container.

For the sentiment, I applied an adhesive sheet to both sides of a piece of Basic White card stock, then cut with the die. I then removed the adhesive cover from the words and applied the gilded leafing in the same way as before. Then I removed the adhesive cover from the back side to adhere to the card.

Hey there! Today I have another card created with a retiring stamp set, To A Wild Rose. I combined this set and the matching dies with the new Gilded Leafing from the Spring Mini Catalog and Blushing Bride to create this:

I added gilded leafing to the center of the rose with Versamark and Heat & Stick powder.

I added gilded leafing to the edges of the layer with Tear & Tape.

Such a lovely sentiment from To A Wild Rose. I hate to see it go.

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Sneak Peek!

Hey there! Today I have a Sneak Peek to share with you I created with one of the pre-order bundles demonstrators were able to get early, Quiet Meadow! This card is also a sneak peek of one of the new In Colors, Soft Succulent!

This is a very simple card. I actually was able to cut, stamp, and assemble 21 of these in a single evening for my monthly swap card. That never happens! I used the splatter stamp from the Quiet Meadow set to add the splatters to the Basic White layer before I embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I used stamped-off-once Soft Succulent ink. I added the Soft Succulent flower cut with a Meadow Die (I added a layer of Adhesive Sheet to the back of the card stock before cutting. Adhesive Sheets make adhering delicate die-cuts like this one so much easier!) I then added a bow tied with new Soft Succulent 3/8" In Color Open Weave Ribbon.

"Thinking of You" is also from the Quiet Meadow set.
