Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Branches!

The tree die in the Beautiful Branches Thinlets is gorgeously intricate, and the bird stamps and coordinating dies are adorable!

I white heat-embossed the bare pine trees first, then stamped over with the "For you" greeting in Versamark and copper heat embossed it.

Inside I heat embossed the pine trees again, and used the Host set, Time of Year for the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Better Together for Christmas in July!

Hey there! I've scheduled a Christmas in July class! Today's card is one I CASED from the catalog, but changed to fit my style. I used Better Together from page 83. Mostly a sentiment set, there are a few non-sentiment images included. I used a sample from page 82 to get started.

Some of my favorite colors for Christmas cards are Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler, and Emerald Envy!

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the two sentiments in the tree shape. I used the Classic Label Punch for the trunk, paper-snipping it the size I needed.

I embossed the Chocolate Chip with the Holly Textured Impressions Folder, and used a strip of This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper on one side. I DISCOVERED!!!! This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper has 24 sheets instead of the usual 12! The paper is lighter-weight than regular designer paper, but there are four sheets of 6 double-sided designs instead of the usual 2 sheets of 6 double-sided. It's a great value, if you want to make a bunch of cards!

The Crushed Curry star is stamped with a Better Together image.

Inside I used an image from Peaceful Pines for the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Better Together for Christmas in July!

Merry Christmas From The Payne Clan And See You Next Week!

Hey there! It's Christmas at the Payne house! Some of the kids came in last night and the rest are coming today! yay!

We are so thankful for our family and that we get to see them every Christmas!

As usual, Jessica photographed everyone and designed my Christmas card. I know it seems weird that I don't stamp my Christmas card, but I DO send out hand-stamped ones to stamping friends and customers. ( I just put them in the mail on Tuesday!) We tried to take a group photo in October, but one of us was sick on the day we planned, so we went with a "Brady Bunch" layout like we did a few years ago before Jaxon was born:

Top left to bottom right: Cody, Kimberly, Me, Johnny, Logan (who is MUCH more handsome without the "crazy face" they told him to make!), Darcy, Troy, Jaxon, Ava, Liam, Maddie Kate, Tony, Ben, Oakley, Jessica, Mark, Alisa, Cohen, and Lando!

The girls did manage to get all the grandkids together for the Christmas cookie picture on the back of the card:

Maddie Kate, Ava, Cohen, and Jaxon belong to Jessica & Johnny.

Liam and Darcy belong to Kimberly & Tony.

Oakley & Lando belong to Alisa & Cody.

We give thanks to the Lord, for "our cup runneth over" with blessings!
