Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Hill Borders!

Hey there! Today's card takes advantage of a border print from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper. I heat embossed the greeting with white powder on the Balmy Blue background.

You can see the embossed greeting better in this picture. This border print is so lovely, I didn't add much else, just a length of Gorgeous Grape 3/8" Sheer Ribbon tied in a knot and a single Gorgeous Grape Pastel Pearl up by the greeting.

Inside is stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.

The second card is practically identical to the first; it just has a different heat-embossed Fancy Phrases sentiment.

I sometimes think phrases like this are only for candy or money, but it can be just a card too!

Inside is stamped with more Fancy Phrases images. I stamped-off the blooms two times on scrap paper before stamping over the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Hill with the Tailored Tag!

Hey there! Today I have another Fancy Phrases/Hydrangea Hill creation to share with you, are you not surprised? My card today also features one of my favorite punches, the Tailored Tag!

To create the card front, I simply punched six of the Hydrangea Hill print repeatedly with the Tailored Tag Punch, laid them out in a pleasing design, then stamped and punched the greeting with Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered all of the tags with liquid glue so I would have a bit of "wiggle room" to adjust the spacing as I went along. I popped up the greeting tag with stampin' dimensionals, then added a single Rococo Rose Pastel Pearl. After I had all of the tags adhered, I then trimmed the edges flush with the Misty Moonlight layer using my Paper Snips. I used the pieces I trimmed off to fill in the partial tags along the ends.

Stampin’ Up! Fancy Phrases With Stained Glass Vellum!

Hey there! Today I have another Fancy Phrases/Hydrangea Hill Designer card to share.

Can you see how gorgeous the Hydrangea Hill paper is with that subtle forget-me-not design! I love it! There's not a side to this double-sided paper that I don't love!

For the stained glass technique I heat-embossed the blooms with white embossing powder on our card stock vellum, then colored on the back side with Dark Highland Heather and Dark Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. I hand-cut out the blooms, which was pretty easy with my Paper Snips. I added it to the card front with strategically placed glue dots under the most densely embossed areas. I added a Fancy Phrases greeting punched with the Tailored Tag Punch, a Gorgeous Grape Pastel Pearl, and a bit of White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle tied in a simple knot and added with a glue dot.

I kept the inside simple, stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink to match the front stamping.

Stampin’ Up! Fancy Phrases Tag Topper!

Hey there! In today's card I finally used the punch that is bundled with the Fancy Phrases stamp set, the Fancy Tag Topper! I combined it with the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series paper again and modified the Triple Time technique:

I used three different prints from the Hydrangea Hill Designer. I stamped directly on the paper with Tuxedo Black ink and added three Gorgeous Grape Pastel Pearls (my online ordering gift this month when you spend at least $50!)

I punched the top of the 2" x 3 1/2" Hydrangea Hill strip with the Fancy Tag Topper, then tied about 5" of Gorgeous Grape 3/8" Sheer Ribbon in a simple knot.

I stamped everything in Tuxedo Black or Gorgeous Grape.

Dimensions:

Gorgeous Grape Card base: 5 ½” x 8 /12”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”

Gorgeous Grape Triple Time mat layers: 2 ¼” x 3 ½”, 3 ¼” x 4 ½”

Hydrangea Hill Triple Time layers: 2” x 3 1/2”, 3” x 4 ¼”, 4” x 5 ¼ inside strip: 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Basic White inside layer: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Ribbon: about 5 inches

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Hill Triple Time!

Hey there! Today I have more Triple Time cards to share; this time with the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper and Fancy Phrases!

These cards have minimal stamping; I let the Hydrangea Hill Designer paper do all of that work!

I used a Misty Moonlight card base for this one, punching the greeting with the Tailored Tag punch and tying a simple bow with about 16" of White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

I stamped-off the Misty Moonlight ink to add the little bloom spray behind the greeting. I used a Seaside Spray Pastel Pearl to accent.

Inside:

My second card has a Blackberry Bliss base and layers:

I tied Blackberry Bliss Ribbon in a knot, then trimmed the ends to create a "faux bow" look!

I added Gorgeous Grape Pastel Pearls to each end of the greeting.

I love this pretty Fancy Phrases sentiment!
