Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! My crazy life is just a little bit crazier right now! My daughter, Alisa, her husband, Cody, and two little boys Oakley and Lando are living with us while they wait for their air conditioning to be fixed at their house. I love it when my kids and grandbabies get to stay with us, but it does change my work (stamping) schedule!

Because of my house-guests I was unable to get Sunday Swap Day posted yesterday, but since I already had the cards selected, I've decided to share them with you today!

Tamie Ackerson created her card with Floral Phrases, Floral Boutique Designer Paper and Floral Boutique Designer Washi Tape:

To add a little bit of shimmering elegance, Tamie painted the bloom with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush:

Inside, another sentiment from Floral Phrases:

Finally, Sharon-Tong Robinson used Detailed Floral Thinlets Dies with the bundled Floral Phrases stamp set for an soft and elegant wedding card:

Lots of Labels Framelits and Delightful Dijon 5/8" Mini Striped Ribbon to complement her Blushing Bride/Whisper White color scheme:

Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes Thinlets!

Hey there! I wanted to play with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlets, so I created these two quick and easy anniversary cards!

These were very simple and quick! I LOVE the Sunshine Wishes thinlets! The font is cute and cuts out so easily! The flower and the heart are from Sunshine Wishes too!

This card is so simple with Basic Black, Whisper White, and Real Red. I embossed the white background with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I added the thinlets with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Better Together with Basic Black Archival ink.

For the second card I used Island Indigo, Whisper White, and Basic Black.

The Petal Burst folder makes an excellent background!

These cards were so easy and quick!

Stampin’ Up! Every Day Chic Blessed By God!

Hey there! I created today's card for my monthly swap last month. The theme was wedding, so I used now-retiring Everyday Chic Designer Paper, Blessed By God stamps, and Greetings Thinlets:

I used Whisper White Thick card stock for my card base, with layers of Everyday Chic Designer Paper and Basic Black card stock for the formal look:

I used Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits for the black frame, and a retiring Greetings Thinlet for the "cheers"

To create the large open heart I punched black card stock with the Sweetheart Punch, then used the heart from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets Dies to cut around the negative space left from the first punch. I did the same process for the small heart, punching the center with a heart from the Confetti Hearts Border Punch, then punched around the negative space with the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. A single rhinestone provides a little bling.

Inside I repeated the black-and-white look with more layers cut with the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits, heart punches, and sentiments from the Blessed By God stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! A Beautiful Ride!

Hey there! I had a request for a Beautiful Ride card at a workshop this month. They fell in love with a card from my display, so I CASED myself! You can view the original card HERE.

My self-CASE:

I used the same layout as my original, but used all different colors and papers.

The Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper worked perfectly for a vintage look, and I used colors from the paper for the card base and layers; Basic Black and Lost Lagoon. I embossed the Lost Lagoon layers with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions folder. I added a punched flower from the Tree Builder Punch and a Cajun Craze Candy dot to the congrats banner cut with a Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets die.

After stamping the "bug" on the Hello Honey cross-hatch design, I added the flowers and "Love" with the same Archival black ink. I colored the tires with a Project Life Journaling Pen. I LOVE those pens! I added a Cajun Craze Candy Dot to the tire centers for a more color pop.

This set just works with the Z-fold. I punched clouds with the Tree Builder Punch from the opposite side of the same paper I stamped and cut out the "bug"from.

I stamped the sentiments directly on the Lost Lagoon layer before embossing with the Softly Falling folder. I lined the envelope with another Botanical Gardens design, cut with the Envelope Liner die.
