Stampin’ Up! A Stack of Teacups!

Hey there! I wanted to play with the Tea Boutique Suite Collection again, so I created this card using one of the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes as the base:

I cut different patterns of Tea Boutique Designer paper with one of the Tea Cup dies, then stacked them up! My favorite cup print is the one on the bottom!

I stamped the Cup of Tea sentiment with Starry Sky ink and cut it out with a die from the Sending Smiles bundle. I stamped a bloom with Petal Pink ink, cut with a Teacup Die, and then added Garden Green and Parakeet Party leaves cut with more Teacup Dies. I added a single Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dot to the center. Each color of dots comes in two sizes.

Inside I stamped more Petal Pink blooms and then stamped leaves with Parakeet Party ink. The sentiment, stamped with Starry Sky, is also found in the Cup of Tea stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea!

Hey there! I decided to play with the Cup of Tea Bundle and Tea Boutique 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper to create this pretty little card.

I added a couple of 1-inch strips of Tea Boutique paper to the left side of a 4" x 5 1/4" layer of Basic White before I embossed it down the center with one of the Thanks & Hello embossing folders.

I cut the two layers of the teacup with the Teacup Dies with a piece of an Adhesive Sheet on the back of the top layer so it would be easy to attach to the teacup base. Both layers were cut from Fresh Freesia card stock, then I colored the leafy layer with a Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends for a darker shade.

I tied a 16" piece of White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the embossed layer before adhering to the card front, then added a few 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds from the row of Fresh Freesia ones for more scattered sparkle.

Inside I drug the Fresh Freesia ink pad along the edges of the 4" x 5 1/4" layer, then stamped the 3 3/4" x 5" white layer with more Cup of Tea images and added a 1/2" x 3 3/4" strip of Tea Boutique designer. I repeated the teacup image on both the front and the flap of the envelope for a little coordination!

This card was fun and easy to make!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints to Kick off the New Catalog!

Hey there! The Stampin' Up! New Annual Catalog launched this morning! I will leave a link to the catalog at the bottom of this post for your enjoyment!

Today I have one more card created with the Nature's Prints Bundle of stamps and dies, as well as the new Fern 3D embossing folder! I used a monochromatic color combo of Gray Granite and Basic White.

I rubbed the Gray Granite ink pad on the inside of the Fern 3D embossing folder before I inserted the 4" x 5 1/4" Gray Granite layer so the fern design would pop! I also added Clear Wink of Stella to the focal image after stamping and cutting with a Nature's Prints die.

The "Hello there" sentiment from Nature's Prints is just the perfect size to tuck into so many small spaces on your card. After assembling my card front I accented with a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

Inside I stamped another Nature's Prints sentiment, as well as a few more bits of foliage with Gray Granite ink.

To create a darker Gray Granite inside mat layer I dragged my ink pad directly on the Gray Granite card stock to give it a darker shade! You can do this with almost all of our card stock and ink pad colors!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Faux Bleach!

Hey there! Today's card has been rolling around in my head ever since I first saw the Sun Prints Suite in the new Annual Catalog. Several of the Nature's Prints Designer Paper pages look like bleached paper. I know they are called "Sun Prints" because of the similarity (and knowing Stampin' Up! they probably used the real deal!) to the light-sensitive paper used to create "sun prints" of leaves, flowers, shells, etc. I somehow missed that craze growing up, but some of my team members who are just 10 years younger than me have spoken fondly of playing with this technique in art class in Junior High.

Here's my creation with the "faux bleach" technique:

To achieve the faux bleach look without using bleach, I simply inked my image with white craft ink, stamped on the Night of Navy card stock, and let it air dry.

To stamp the greeting from Nature's Prints I stamped with white craft ink then sprinkled with white embossing powder and heated with my heat tool. I then cut with a Nature's Prints label die. I wrapped the "faux bleach layer with Starry Sky 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon, and added a pearl-y Elegant Faceted Gem. I cut another label with the same die from white card stock, cut it in half lengthwise, and the added it evenly to the back of the greeting label before adding it and the focal image layer to the layer of Sun Prints designer paper I had already added to the card front.

I love the little beveled line all around the die-cut label! Gives it such a finished, polished look!

Inside I stamped everything, including the sentiment from Happiness Abounds, with Night of Navy ink.

I hope you like my "faux bleach" card. I hope to get a chance to do some real bleach stamping soon!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Faux Bleach!

Here's my creation with the "faux bleach" technique:

To achieve the faux bleach look without using bleach, I simply inked my image with white craft ink, stamped on the Night of Navy card stock, and let it air dry.

I love the little beveled line all around the die-cut label! Gives it such a finished, polished look!

Inside I stamped everything, including the sentiment from Happiness Abounds, with Night of Navy ink.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day May 1st!
