Stampin’Up! Greetings of the Season and More Merry Messages!

Stampin’Up! Greetings of the Season and More Merry Messages!

Just a quick post today, my blog is finally back up and running! Although the projects I had posted prior to November 10th were still here, ALL the posts I had tried to posts since then were repeatedly lost! Everytime I tried to post, my blog platform (I don't totally understand it either) was throwing me out, back to my login, and the post would be gone! SO FRUSTRATING! I finally gave up for awhile, then emailed the blog people who told me I probably had a CORRUPT COOKIE???? WHAT are THOSE? Well, I had to wait for my son, Logan, to come home from college for Thanksgiving to show me how to FIND this cookie so we could delete it. Once we did that, voila! I am back to blogging!

Fun stuff going on with Stampin'Up! right now too, so I was really anxious about not being able to post! Check my side bars, my facebook page for all the details:

and my Stampin' Up! Online Store:

Here's a card from my Holiday Card Bonanza earlier this week using the Greetings of the Season stamp set and the Snow Flurry Bigz Die. The new Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Folder was used on the card base.

We used designer paper from the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper on the front and a verse from "More Merry Messages" (a stamp set from the Annual Catalog which is on sale right now for 25% off!)

The Mitten Punch finished off the inside. Demonstrators just received our Occasions Catalog beginning January 3, 2013 and it includes a list of Holiday Catalog products that are being carried over, which means you will still be able to order them after the Holiday catalog is over and the Mitten Punch IS NOT ON THE CARRY OVER LIST! So if you were waiting to order this punch, don't, it could be gone before the Holiday Catalog is over, you never know!

That's all for today. Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with another post (as long as my cookies don't get corrupted again! lol!)

Have a Stampingrox! day!

Another cute card I created for my recent workshops I want to share with you using the "Owl Occasions" stamp set and the "Snow Festival" Designer Paper! The stamped snowflakes around the owl are from the "Confetti" stamp set. The present, the branch, and the santa hat are included in "Owl Occasions" along with the owl, of course!

I also used the Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon that is still on special for a couple of more days! Any $40 order will let you choose your choice of 5 In-Colors of this ribbon: Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, or Summer Starfruit! Contact me with your order before Midnight, September 30th to take advantage of this great Stampin' Up! special!

With this card I have been teaching a fun "faux bow" technique:

Step 1: Tie a length of ribbon (in this case about 9-10 inches) around the 2 Way Glue Pen bottle as shown below. Tie a double knot tightly.

Step 2: Slide the tied ribbon off the bottle. Your ribbon will look like this:

Step 3: Use your Craft Scissors to snip the loop in the middle. Snip the ribbon at an angle to make it pretty.

Step 4: Your "faux bow" is now ready to attach to your card with SNAIL or Glue Dots. Tighten the long ends of the ribbon before attaching to card front if you need a little more length to reach around to the back side of the card layer.
